Favorite Albums of 2016

In my yearly tradition, here are some of my favorite albums of 2016. It’s always hard to narrow down my favorites, so I tried to base it off of how often I listened to each album. I usually post youtube videos too, but opted to just posting a master list with links, to condense the post length.

Ship Thieves No Anchor No Idea

Featuring Chris Wollard from Hot Water Music and Chad Darby of Samiam, Ship Thieves have released a wonderful album that will please fans of either of those aforementioned bands. Some are saying that this is the best Hot Water Music album you’ve never heard before. Not being familiar with Hot Water Music, I don’t know how much of that is true, but I can imagine the comparisons are accurate. That being said, No Anchor is a pretty good album that I enjoyed fairly well.
