The wake....and the path....

                    Nothing is as it seems                     Deep in my soul I understand,                     That there are no coincidences                     It’s all by grand design and plan.

                    Who I meet, where I go, and what I do                     Pre-arranged before I wake each day,                     Though each choice and decision is mine                     I'm prodded by the spirit to go a certain way.

                    I have fallen, made mistakes at a cost                     But I realize they are lessons meant for me,                     By a loving God who holds my future                     And only good intentions planned for me.

                    So I face the challenge of each day                     Knowing the outcome is not in my hands alone,                     And I'll stay forever on this narrow road                     That will one day lead me home.
