Floating steps carried 𝔖𝔢𝔯𝔞𝔭𝔥𝔦𝔫𝔞 through the dark of the night, across the starry sky high above the moon, her red hair the only thing not swallowed by the deep blue. Even the weightless, white fabric of her dress didn't catch the moonlight tonight. Bare feet sinking into fluffy clouds, just to jump back out, leaving tiny curls in the nebula behind; a disturbance that settled much sooner than the turbulence inside of the girl's heart.
Once she reached the edge of the cloud, she leaped forward without fear. Stretching out her arms, she let herself fall freely for a long moment, before she stretched out her big, white wings to catch herself mid-air. Gliding on the wind's current, the angel closed in on the ground. More precisely, a small marble pavillon, half overgrown by bougainvillea. Smoothly, and making as little noise as possible, she landed and entered the secret meeting spot.
And there, from the shadows, he emerged. No matter how often she'd laid eyes on him, she never got used to his otherworldly beauty. How someone like this was no angel himself was something she'd never understand.
"Luka." The warmest smile graced her features as she closed the distance between them to fall into his open arms. She allowed herself a moment where she just burried her face against his neck and felt the warmth of his arms around her. If anybody knew she was meeting with a demon, they would both be doomed. Condemned to turn fallen, to tint her wings in the same deep black as his.
When she leaned her head into her neck, her bright blue eyes settled on his face again. If the devil was this beautiful, how could anyone not be tempted? Her lips parted automatically, the same feeling rising in her core again, like it always did when she met him. And only him. Desire... something an angel shouldn't even know, but here she was, full of desire for a being from the other side.
"I missed you..." Ever since she first met him by chance, she'd not been able to get him out of her mind. Everything she'd known told her to stay away, but in the end she hadn't been strong enough to resist his magnetic pull. Those eyes... His gentle touch... The way he looked at her like she was the most ethereal entity he'd ever come across. The temptation had simply grown too big to be ignored.
So she committed a sin.
