Ship painting #wip Anyone who is an artist or has tried art knows that there are stages of struggles when painting. The first stage is the resistance to make the first mark on canvas. There is something about a blank canvas that's puts the fear in the heart of artists 😂. Then comes the commitment phobia of colours and composition. Then comes the struggle with what I call the 'ugly' stages. This is when you have put down some paint but are not yet confident with the path you are on. I'll discuss the later struggles in my next post but folks there is a lesson to be learned here. You can't make something out of nothing. Be bold and start something, even if it's bad, you can work and course-correct until you reach your desired destination. I'm looking forward to seeing where this painting goes.
