this is only true for the pilot if i remember correctly
ahh yeah i think i assumed since like pilots get worked around a lot, but i honestly didn’t even remember watching the original pilot ever until i checked rn!

oh wow can you share some of the differences?i don’t have hulu and i think the only version of the pilot i’ve seen is the one that was released a few months before airing
oh i think you may have watched it then? i’m unsure which pilot it really is since i think usually the ones released before they air on tv are the ones w/o the changes? could be wrong though. but in case others want to know too! i’ll talk a bit about it. i think the biggest change is like the last scene? LOOK AT THESE SHOTS.
the abc pilot also has him in like a different house than this i believe. and like in the hulu pilot eliza doesn’t push henry out into the rain with that Voiceover. the hulu pilot ends with them just sitting there talking. it was a different vibe than the abc pilot i think it was really sweet.
there are other subtle changes, like when they first meet in the abc pilot there’s this other white guy in the room but in the hulu pilot he doesn’t exist in that scene omg. and there are just other various cuts. i only really discovered it because i was going to remake my old gifs and i downloaded some episodes to start and i was like THE SCENES DON’T EXIST. so here we are now!!!
