It really bugs me how much people tend to assume everything's romantic in fandom spaces. I feel like i can't even say i like the friendship between to characters without first clarifying that i don't see it as being romantic, or else i'll get responses like "Oh, so you ship them?" I wish i could say friendship and have other fans of something understand that i mean friendship.

Sorry in advance for this vent. I run a Starfox discord server and it used to be a really fun place full of theories and discussion ab characters and worldbuilding, but lately its mostly folf shippers. I get so tired of every single mention of wolf or fox being about them being gay for each other. I dont get how people can find ships so interesting as to cancel out everything else. Ive not heard mention of any friendships in months. Im so tired

4) Okay so I have no idea if this is a popular ship but I hate hate hate Juvia x Grey. I hate Juvia’s character, and how she’s commonly reduced to just “I love Grey” in the anime so often and I think if she wasn’t so “love obsessed” with Grey I’d like her character a bit more. I haven’t ever really been involved in the fairy tail fandom so idk if it’s a popular ship but I wanted to rant about her lmao

5) I had to look this up because I had no idea what it meant and honestly idk if I’ve ever seen this trope because I don’t view a lot of romance stuff or if I do then I don’t remember the romance part. I don’t know what’s going on anymore

6) I’m running out of ships it’s time to pull up star wars anyways Poe and Finn belong together I think it’s a popular ship and why tf did Rose get watered down into just a love interest for Finn I’m still angry
