I got tagged by the lovely shipstovalinor, so that gives me stuff to do. I'm not going to follow the rules cos I'm a rebel, but also because I've spammed people with these before and made them all promises I wouldn't do it again!

1) Where did you last go on holiday?

That was Cardiff, and we did Doctor Who related things most of the time :)

2) Name the last book you read

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (yes I've finally read them)

3) What was your favorite subject at school?

Either Maths or Physics. Probably Physics (you'd never have guessed :p)

4) Who in your life inspires you most?

I don't really know, I don't really have an inspirational person that I look up to that I can think of. Sorry.

5) Describe your favorite outfit

Oh, erm, I've got no idea on this one either. I do quite like Victorian clothing, but I look utterly ridiculous in it. I'm really not sure, outfits are not exactly my area...

6) Who is your favorite Avenger and why?

Tony Stark/Iron Man cos he's just plain awesome

7) Cats or dogs (or whichever pet is your favorite) and why?

Erm, I'm gonna say both and cheat the question. Dogs because they're loyal and stay with you, but also cats because they're lower maintenance but also good for company.

8) Who would win in a fight, Superman or Batman?

That's a tricky one. Initial instinct says Superman, but Batman's got a lot of money and a lot more brains, so could be a close fight.

9) What last made you smile?

It was walking through Brighton in the rain on the way to Waterstones. 

10) Favorite scene from a movie

Well now that's the thing about movies, they have lots of scenes. Longer movies have more scenes, and after watching lots of films, that's a lot of scenes. And of course the more scenes that are watched, the more that will be seen that are good. And from that I suppose it is theoretically possible to obtain a favourite scene, yes. And that scene would almost certainly be confined to one movie. Therefore I do indeed agree with your statement 'Favourite scene from a movie'

Yes! The precinct starts getting hate mail about it and everyone works so hard to keep it from them, but Dorian's a goddamn android with access to every police file there is, so of course he knows and has no idea what to do. So he makes up for it by being extra attentive- on the job, in bed (oh god, especially in bed, John LOVES it) but he's also a gorram detective and he knows how to detect. So he finds out- and to the surprise of everyone, he's really calm about it- till he breaks a door...

… On the way out, and Dorian is torn- does John even want him around now? So instead of going home he goes down to the storage place with all the other MX’s, and stays there with all of them glaring at him with their lifeless eyes, until about two hours later he gets a call from John ranting down the phone about where the hell is he, why isn’t he home yet…

and Dorian heads back to their apartment and tries to keep what he did a secret but he can’t keep anything from John for too long and instead of being angry John’s actually giddy about it like “serves them right for clogging up the precinct computers, we have work to do dammit” and he smiles when Dorian’s eyes light up and lets him bridal carry him to the bedroom and have his wicked way with him (✿◠‿◠)

Okay, sorry but since you asked, I'm coming off anon with moar headcanons, because I have many, many feelings about these two <3 So- John totally thinks the precinct doesn't know but Dorian made the mistake of talking to Rudy about it so he wouldn't accidentally hurt him, and now everyone's in on it. Stahl likes to bring it up around Paul just to be annoying, and Moldanado checked regulations to make sure it's okay before they went ahead- they don't say anything AGAINST it, so it's fine, right?

but some people DO, homophobes and people against human/android stuff alike, and they either stay on the outskirts and complain about the disgusting stuff happening inside the precinct and how this needs to be stopped or they confront the two of them in broad daylight and Dorian makes sure they know that if they say anything else ever again he will kill them (◡‿◡✿) and everyone else is really protective of John too cause he’s been through so much shit in such a short period and now he’s having his love life looked at through a magnifying lens and everyone just thinks its such bullshit so they usually take care of the little shits that try to ruin his day personally before they even get to talk to him

Hi! About your Milgram post- there's a theory that says obeying authority was literally 'bred' into our species as it gave us an advantage (survival-wise) which is why so many are susceptible to it. Like if your leader said 'Don't go in the river, there's crocodiles and you'll die'- those who were obedient lived, whist those who disobeyed died, and so as a species obedience was a trait that was passed on. Also, the results for these tests terrify me, because I don't know what I would do.

That is so fucking cool, and it makes a lot of sense.
