Shirfine, an indie musician based in Amoy (Xiamen), China. Well-known for her ethereal, melodic and soothing music. Appreciating various genres of music from classical to pop or from mainstream to niche and Influenced by the genre of jazz hip hop music, she creates music with her own original piano pieces and developed her unique musical style. At the age of 3 and a half, she started to play the piano for the first time, and began composing at her 15.
At 21 years of age, her debut original album "Every Piece of Love and Misery" came out on October 18, 2012, which was critically acclaimed for a long time after being released, and has received over 1,800,000 plays on Xiami.com. The single "Imaginary Kiss" reached the 3rd of the Sina Weekly Charts (Vol.35) and the 6th of the Sina Weekly Charts (Vol.36). The album "Every Piece of Love and Misery" and the single "Breathless" were nominated for Albums of the Year and Songs of the Year respectively at the 2012 Abilu Music Awards held by Douban.com. Besides, Shirfine was nominated for Musicians of the Year at three Abilu Music Awards from 2012 to 2014, and won in 2013. After only being given a free listen, her informally released single "Sweet Lies" has received about 220,000 plays on Sina.com. In 2014, when her EP "Endless Daydream" came out, the contained single "Illusionary Daytime" became a hit as one of her magnum opuses.
As well as being an indie musician, she now owns a studio producing visual arts and indie short films.
