year-end wrap-up post, just because
so at the beginning of this year i posted some goals to tumblr dot com. let's check in on them why don't we.
get my fucking license. i DID NOT do this and in fact let my learners permit expire. lmao.
kiss somebody. this one was a success! i am now in a very very awesome relationship with somebody that i love and we DO kiss about it. quite frequently.
acquire full time employment. i also did this! i'm way more tired now but also not obsessing over every single item i buy at the grocery store is such a game changer
enjoy the BHS international trip. mostly yes? like i did suffer through the social anxiety horrors but that did not prevent me from overall having a good time.
find new/different musical fulfillment. does going to dance classes count? i say yes.
continue squashing that pesky flight instinct like a bug. i don't have a good metric for this but i haven't broken up with my boyfriend in a fit of self-loathing yet so i'd say good progress is being made
other things i did this year that were good:
kicked a bad habit i've had since childhood!!!!!!
actually started paying attention to the amount of time i spend brushing my teeth instead of "eh, feels done"
tried some new recipes and generally cook fewer meals that come out of cardboard boxes
started getting mental health treatment again
and some goals for 2026:
persevere through the scary "first argument" in my relationship that will happen after the honeymoon phase ends
deal with all the legal paperwork currently preventing me from renewing my passport
apply to grad school
At The Very Least take my permit test again
finish more writing projects
