As with anything if someone doesn't want an identifier to apply to them that's cool, but it's best not to avoid history in the process. In my HS Gay was a slur and insult, if you sucked at something? Gay. Reason for bullying/beating? Gay, didn't dress like the others? Gay. Considered dumb? Gay. Doesn't change that gay in of itself was not made as nor made for being a slur, same goes for the Q word basically. Side note: Wth was up with the person going on about peadophiles???? Were they high??

Like noah fence but highschool boys being homophobic is not the same as a slur that’s used to dehumanize and degrade gay people on a daily basis for decades.
