Hi, What were your thoughts about the Gamora and Nebula dynamic in GOTG2?

I don’t want to spoil anything for anyone who hasn’t seen it yet, so...I won’t. I’ll be as vague and careful as I can be.

Overall, I liked it. I still hate that their interactions are largely “Here’s a girl fight to enjoy for a minute, audience, in case you’re getting bored of listening to a bunch of fucking white dudes angst at each other” but...it was okay. I appreciated the development that Nebula’s character got: she became the most sympathetic character, to me. 

I just wish Gamora had gotten even a fraction of that kind of development. For the most part, she could easily have been replaced with a Secy Lamp in this movie and no one would have noticed. I think my irritation at Gamora’s utter lack of...anything is really tainting my view of the dynamic between the two of them.
