I read a study once on the fuel efficiency of various types of commuter vehicles (car, bus, train) on a per person basis and the number of people needed riding public transit to match the "efficiency" of cars is shockingly low. A bus needs to carry like 3-4 people to be fuel efficient, and trains require 2-3 per train car. Both often carry two dozen or more during peak hours, more than justifying any perceived requirements for efficiency for the train or bus to provide service the entire day.

In case anyone hasn't heard, the cyclospora outbreak affecting tons of people in the US right now is coming from Taylor Farms produce. Best to stay away from bagged lettuce and prepared salads completely right now, but especially the ones mentioned in the screenshot:

Taylor Farms Earthbound Farms Little Salad Bar (Aldi) Marketside (Walmart) Kroger House Brand Target private label greens Costco salads and greens etc Trader Joe's chopped salad kits and fresh produce Fast food: McDonalds, Taco Bell, (Yum! Brands), Chipotle, Subway, Pizza Hut, KFC, Olive Garden, Top Golf, Red Lobster, Burger King, etc.

This is not the first time I've heard about a Taylor Farms foodborne illness outbreak. I stopped eating their salads after reading a description of the conditions in their facilities. Doesn't sound like they've improved anything.

We need a fully funded and staffed FDA, and regulations with teeth - and that's exactly what we don't have under Trump. To make things worse, the CDC is no longer tracking these outbreaks. We're on our own.

Outbreak is considered to have started 1 May, I was laid off on the 27th. That would do it.

HEB-branded greens also come from Taylor. Simple Truth Organic is also a Taylor brand sold exclusively through the Kroger conglomerate.

If I wanted to try to write a TrinityxReader tattoo story, would it be weird if I gave little stories to her tattoos? It wouldn't be the primary focus of the story, obviously, but my brain wants to weave a cozy little scene with some chatter.

I've done a bit of searching but I'm not sure she's shared any information about her tattoos. Of course, even if she HAD shared anything, that doesn't mean that those stories are also Trinity's stories, right? I promise I'm not intentionally being parasocial with this; I just want to see what info's out there before I fully make up whatever I decide her story is.

Does anybody recognize the square/card-shaped tattoo she's got on her inner bicep? The bottom right corner looks like Queen of Diamonds (or Clubs?) but on the card itself, that looks like a candle stick or a dagger?

If anyone's got any info or input, I'd love to hear it!
