It's absolutely...perplexing to me that there are people on this website that weren't alive during the events of 9|11.

20 years is a long time, I know, but it's barely even covered in schools now when our country has been so fundamentally changed by it.

I thought about making a little vid about what it was like as a 13-year-old me in 8th grade that day because I still remember it so vividly, but...I don't know if I feel up to that.

Crazy thing.

Life has thought me so much this past year. Just embracing things as they come and leaping for things I probably would have never done has led to some of the best memories and adventures. Things have changed so much from a time I thought I was nobody and didn't know much of anyone and now it feels like the complete opposite. Riding the wave but making sure it's s damn good one.

What that post about dressing nice at protests fails to mention is doxxing. Like...i would say once you make it clear you don't agree with fash, they'll have no qualms about finding you and harassing you so like... until that's addressed, I can't in good conscience tell people to do anything but mask up
