Had an interesting convo with Roathe last night. Might make a piece about it. We'll see.

ok ok ok ok i just had a realization about something.

so i went on Roathe's wiki page and noticed it got updated recently. His official title was added. his title?

Vice Regent Grand Carnus Roathe. I did some small digging, and it came from a gamespress article. I saw the Carnus part of his title and looked up what it meant.

I am not a huge Greek mythology nerd, but from my very brief research into it, Carnus was a character from the mythos who was a seer, which is a diviner who saw omens and the like. we break down his title. I am assuming he worked with the seven and did divinations (or something like it) for them for their immediate future.

Now, I have two theories on what could have happened to him: he either knew that the tenno were going to revolt, or saw visions of Wally. Either one makes sense, but the latter would make even more sense considering that if his title as a diviner could make him interesting in the eyes of Wally. AND it would make more sense if either the seven (or Albrecht) cast him out.

I don't know. It feels like a crackpot theory, and it doesn't consider what Albrecht told him before casting him out or what Roathe said in the trailer. just felt like mentioning that.

I like the idea of creating Warframe fanart around Nine Inch Nails lyrics, but with the introduction of the Devils Triad at the end of this year (and its implications), I hesitate to do so right now.

I mean, the Wretched and Into the Void are a given and are automatically the Nightingale siblings, but what about Aoi? Amir?

Is a specific song more fitting for Quincy or for someone else?

Music is a huge part of my creative process, and my art reflects how I interpret the song, and in this case, it's about how I think it portrays a character. Nine Inch Nails covers a lot about identity and the self (in the case of NIN it's usually around Trent's, the singer, identity and self), and what do the Protoframes suffer with when you meet them?

Their lost humanity. Their identity. some suffer more than others (Eleanor, Flare), but some are more accepting of who they have become(Aoi, Lettie). If it wasn't for the time loop, they would eventually turn into warframes (according to albrecht, but who knows).

Just some things to ponder.
