I know fuck all about UK politics, so maybe you can clear this up for me. Is ukip basically a Tea Party equivalent? Because that's how I'm understanding it. Also....lentil-knitting?!
Hmm, I don't know much about US politics, but I think so. UKIP is basically a racist, homophobic and sexist party that's gained a lot of popularity lately because of the unease with the EU over here at the moment over immigration laws. It has a ton of crap policies though, like privatising the NHS and banning gay marriage, so..
I dunno what the lentil-knitting thing is about actually, but it might have something to do with the Green party being a more liberal and, therefore, 'hippy' party? Never heard the expression before that post.
