Today is the first time that I hear one of my siblings insinuating that I am not a good sister… Because I don’t do the housework for them like the other sister in the house does. I don’t really understand this concept of ‘you’re the eldest, hence do this for them, do that for them’ which most of my family members subscribe to. I wanted to bring this up earlier, but since said sibling seems tired so I didn’t. Maybe next time. Maybe next time everytime. Hopefully things will get better. I admit I do have my bad points sometimes. But to hear that anyway… Sigh. I still took it as a sign to improve though. Anyways. Everyone is tired at the end of the day, and everyone wishes that one has less cumbersome work to do. Just because I don’t show that I’m tired doesn’t mean I’m not. Just because I have more free time at home means I should do all the duties all the time. And how come no one wants to say anything about the person who doesn’t do stuff? Oh, school very far, reach home late, cca tiring. Valid reasons, but that doesn’t mean I should accept it because: 1. The sister should in fact be doing 2 persons’ share of the work but is not. 2. Therefore said person’s share falls on the rest. 3. The rest will seem that they didn’t do enough. 4. This is exactly what happened during O-Levels period and if shit happens again and moms complain to each other and shit falls on me, I will end the world myself, man. Rant over. Hopefully better days ahead, now that everyone seems to agree on the duty roster, unlike 2 years ago. But then again, everyone also seems to agree on it at that time and shit still happened.... Oh well. I still love them. Family is family is family. Better days ahead. :)
