last night, i discovered that darth plagueis had tried to get to anakin when he was first brought to coruscant by qui-gon, but was told he had just missed him as he attempted to break into the suite anakin was staying in. he then spied on their departure back to naboo and caught his first and only glimpse of anakin, to which, “he received a vision of a cyborg clad in dark armor and a dark helmet — confirming his fears, that this boy would change the course of history. “ and plagueis, not wanting the jedi to train the boy, ordered that sidious have maul kill qui-gon to stop his vision from becoming reality and to also have obi-wan killed, knowing he’d take the boy under his wing.
