I was thinking about the whole flag replacement debate and decided to try my hand at making a Washington State flag

I see a lot of flags that are some combination of like "mountain + river" and JJ McCullough's comment that every state has those, so I tried to think about how to represent our terrain as more than just the abstract concept of a mountain, a river, and a sound.

The upper left blue and green represents San Juan, Kitsap, and Puget Sound, and also kinda looks like Raven, imo.

The blue stripes represent Columbia River.

The gray stripes represent I5 and I90.

The white circle represents Mt Rainier.
