Sho, unfortunately, had a rather unfortunate habit of mocking anyone and everyone he met. Even if, for example, they were a masked hemoanon against whom he had no actual grudge. But she was there, and she was annoying, and that meant he had to taunt her. In whatever way possible. alright, let me explain you a thing about shocah laufei ok

Sho was originally created with the simple goal of being a kismesis for my friend's yellowblood. They were both six sweeps old and the yellowblood (Celeto) thought he was James Bond, so I figured why not make a troll to be a ~villain~ so they could have cute stupid rivalry.

That was literally the worst idea i've ever had. 

He started off based on kid!Loki, with short hair and a Sleipnir lusus and the scepter that Avengers!Loki has and he was really cute and couldn't control his weapon at all, and had a stupid villain costume. he was great. and he grew up cool and badass.

And then we were on the train and joking around about fanon!Loki and i was like "hey what if he was really into Beyonce" and then it spiralled out of control from there

and then a year and a bit later and he's a high-heel obsessed pole-dancer with a villain complex and a massive flushcrush on his kismesis and everyone seems to think he's hot.

ok so most of my trolls are based on a central concept of some kind, and then i expand off that? so for example sho was originally based on bond villains and spy vs. spy but then i incorporated a bunch of loki elements and then he just kind of turned into a really attractive joke i mean seriously

nyu was based on the oracle of delphi! so most of her backstory/name/personality/everything really is tied to that story in some way.

kura was literally not based on anything i just wanted a troll that chimed but he somehow drew elements from evangelion, no. 6, angel beats, maximum ride, and about 46357453765472463 other gay anime.

bri was inspired by lovecraft and wtnv~

but most of my trolls are based on animals of some sort! so ammosa was based on sand cats, and then i decided to make him a thief so he could tie in with vulpes and co. mopane was based on moths, lophis on anglerfish (yes, i know male anglerfish are just testicles), shuinn on glaucus atlanticus, kattan on scottish fold cats... most of my trolls have an underlying theme that it's not hard to find!

also, a lot of them are based off "what if there was a troll that...?" like yui and bri, and also magine, the question is more "how would this fit into troll society?"

and then of course there are the trolls i make for the sole reason of getting a particular quad. (cough) kin (cough)
