Shōbō-ji 正法寺
A beautiful Buddhist temple in Kyoto that enshrines the thousand armed Kannon. It belongs to the Tōji school of Shingon Buddhism.
One of the neat things they had were these bamboo poles stuck in the ground that when you put your ear up to them they reverberated with music. (Turn up the volume to hear it) It's quite famous for its rock garden with rocks meant to represent a variety of animals. The temple also had not one but two different shrines on its grounds, I believe one is an Inari Shrine and the other might be a Benzaiten shrine.
