Dat Visor 💦 @football.equipment ・・・ SHOC visor insert review (courtesy of @greengridiron) - First off, let me explain what a visor insert is to some of you guys that may not know. A visor insert is a thin piece of plastic that slides behind your clear visor to give it a color. In the picture, you see a gold insert clipped in behind a clear Xenith visor. Basically, what these inserts do is make it so you can have a cool, colored visor OR your plain clear visor. Inserts are PERFECT for players who play in high school and are not allowed to use at tinted visor during games. Having an insert allows you to have a tinted or colored look for practice, camps, ect., and then a clear one that is legal for games. It's really the best of both worlds. Now onto the review. The SHOC insert works awesome and provides a tint similar to sunglasses so they are perfect for sunny practices or games. I wouldn't recommend using them in night games since it may be a little harder to see. Only problem I had was putting the insert in. It's a little challenging due to the flimsiness of the insert, but once you get it in, it's awesome. I highly recommend these to any high school players or anyone else who cannot wear a tinted visor in games. They have several color options such as blue, red, green, gold (pictured), magenta, chrome, and lastly iridium(my personal favorite). Overall, I rate it a 9/10 and there is no insert better than these SHOC ones.
