Today's prompt for inktober is "divided". Since yesterday I did Takeda Shingen's Fūrinkazan, today I chose to brush the shortened version of the death poem of his nemesis Uesugi Kenshin.

Hmm in short. I did not like this one. lol Week 7, kachōfūgetsu, beauties of nature. Each character had four different ways to write them and they were all terrible. I finally chose one way, and it turned out alright, but man you should see my other attempts. Week 6, momijigari. Not entirely sure I understood the translation, but means something along the lines of maple leaves or autumn leaves. I got bamboozled by @mouzas into doing Inktober this year as an excuse to practice my shodō and sumi-e. 

The prompt today was “swift” so I chose to do a rendition of Fūrinkazan in two styles.

It’s not great, but I’m years out of practice. This paper sucks, but it’s for practice, so it’ll do.
