There is something insanely magical about showing a student a world they've never seen especially when it's aligned with their passion. Opening up the biggest door the door of possibilities and inspiration in their minds and souls. I used to watch Cam when he was tiny tiny and having him want to produce and become a force for good in the music world and make music that heals his soul and let's him express all the absolute shit that's inside. I barely crack the doors for some of my young tribe and they just march through eyes wide mouths open smiles that stretch for miles. 😲😲😲 I totally remember what it was like when I sat in that chair and listened for the first time to what I sound like. How my voice is sonically and soulfully amplified, the flaws were awful and the correct and perfect passes were so fuckn lit to me. 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Couldn't believe it was me but totally aware that it is now possible. I invite you to explore those doors for yourself it's all out there. All you have to do is ask, dig, and punch your way through being complacent, entitled and void of passion. I can't wait to see who joins us in this space of creation who lets the damn songs, the flow, the poetry OUT! Who's in the command seat next. We're waiting. Pretty good LOVE story. My favorite. Young man working hard at being a musician, traveling the backwoods of Wisconsin performing with his band. The long nights cold cold icy roads, and hundreds of performances later, helps him land the girl of his dreams. They become teachers he teaches in a prison, she teaches special ed, they love it, they love each other. They Get married. The years pass they want a family, the can’t have children of their own so they decide to adopt. They find the resources which were not always there to give one little boy from the Philippines a home. Then another little boy from Korea. Still working long hours teaching and coaching, 10-12 hours a day sometimes they to get the resources to make it happen, they find a way. The family rooted in love continues to grow. A couple years pass and the family adds a third addition this time another little girl from Korea, she’s a chubby, real cubby, and beautiful! The immediate family is complete. 49years pass, they stay married, they grow older, they stay in love, they are silly, they take silly photo shoots with their neat smart phones, they are each others best friends. Their silly son documents their journey and writes songs about them and the pretty amazing love story they’ve written. I am so thankful, and happy their love story continues on and I get to watch these silly photo shoots! I LOVE you guys thanks for coming to yet another one of your kiddo’s shows.
