From Pate de Luxe to Pommadier. Why to use the one or the other? They are both great products by Saphir Médaille d'Or, but of course there is a difference between the two. In basic it comes down to this. The Pommadier is somewhat more nourishing, the cream structure will enable the Pommadier to really get into the leather and treat it from within as well. The Pate de Luxe is somewhat more protecting, the wax will add that extra layer on the outside. Furthermore, the wax will leave a higher gloss. To be honest, it is best to use both. Start with some rounds of Pommadier and apply the Pate de Luxe as last layer. That way you get both the great nourished and protected leather and the high shine finish.
