SHORT REPLY: IT’S BEAUTIFUL JUST BEAUTIFUL
Despite all the leaks and spoilers it’s incredible the show managed to surprise us again! At this point I think the bingo was purposefully misleading to balance the podcast leaks: the shattered gem, diamond fusion etc. (unless these things happen later but I think they won’t) but ok in order
- Ruby and Sapphire’s wedding is so pure and I gasped when they kissed because so far it was never so explicit, but I’m glad they managed to add it and this aired omg ♥♥ I really hope this won’t be censored in Italy! Stronger than you wasn’t but rn Italy is getting worse so I truly fear the kiss will be cut
- I was scared that too many characters were difficult to handle, but in the end the fighting was very engaging and well-thought. I read people complaining that fightings in su weren’t that great anymore but imo it’s just because in the past there were the corrupted gems, while now it’s more about feelings (the only fighting I didn’t particularly like was the Star Skipper vs the Destiny Destroyer tho but it’s another matter). However, the Diamonds look very majestic in battle, finally Peridot and Lapis have been poofed, oh and I must say I liked Lapis in this episode which is somehow a rarity lol (and I just realised I made her dress for my cosplay… BUT NOW SHE WILL HAVE A NEW ONE FFFF)
- Imo from now on SU will be very different. Two Diamonds and presumably their gems will be if not allies, at least not enemies. White may be the final villain but I truly believe that the gems as a whole might face another alien species; we have seen humans and gems so far, and how they can even get along or fall in love, so it would make sense if they showed incompatible aliens as well. (Maybe the diamonds came to take the Cluster because they needed immediately and this is how this arc will finish? Introducing the new enemy?)
I wish I could write something more but I just woke up and barely slept tonight (fire alarm in my building, a mess) and then this episode totally wrecked me aaah maybe later I’ll be able to write something that makes senseee ♥
