Today seems like just as good of a day as any to start back up the shoe introspection.

Early flights.

Familiar places.

Old friends.

Musical spaces.

When you wake up at 3 am for an early flight and have plans to see #rhettmiller play at #antones, what kinds of shoes do you wear? Coral suede ones that stand out just a bit against all the blackness in your vacation wardrobe.

This reminds me of all the people who are desperate to find any fault in Trumps life & amour, no matter how small & insignificant it is, they run around cheering like they have won the grand championship.... it’s really sad that this is the only way people can find joy, by trying to find the faults in others. With being director - there are a lot of "shoes" to fill at times.. but today I had to spend quite a bit of time sitting with the little one because she was missing her mom. We didn't talk much, I didn't have much to offer her but my arm to lean on & a reminder that I am there.
