Character flaws 12 and 18 for Honey!
Ahhhh yesh, my brat girl~
12. At least one thing that they tend to overreact to.
She doesn’t like being told “No”. Or better yet, she doesn’t know how to take the word “no”. It’s not something she’s had to hear a lot. Or at all in her natural habitat. So it’s something she takes GREAT surprise to.
Also if Bee gets hurt. The dragon is a lot more tough that she would make it seem, but now that he’s back to being a baby she tends to coddle the crap out of him.
18. Are they ever a pushover about something? If so, how?
Anything for her darling baby dragon. She’s not much of a pushover for anything else.
1, 4 and 6 for Rory!
1. Theme song: New Soul by Yael Naim-This song is a bit and silly but sweet and calming, I actually plan on doing a full comic to her singing and doing the same things in the music video one day. I like to think it fits her because she usually plunges headfirst into new things that happen in her life (ie: First day of Kindergarden; First day of Camp Halfblood; First time in College, etc.), so it’s a nice reassurance to herself that yes everything’s strange and weird and new to her but it’ll be okay in the end. She has her memories of good times and friends to keep her grounded enough.
4. Archetype/character trope-(I had to look up character tropes and archtypes for awhile because my characterization and DnD knowledge is fuzzy)- One would be "The Medicine Woman/Hierophant" since the definition for that is ‘This Archetypal Figure represents the external Form and function of the internal Mysteries; The Hierophant stands as a barrier to those who are yet unable to comprehend the True creative Life principles and therefore the External Teaching is all that they receive. However, if they can pass beyond the Form via choice to join the Spirit of Illumination radiating from within their Souls then the High Priestess is waiting to reveal the heretofore hidden Mysteries inscribed in the Scroll she is holding in reserve for those who are truly ready’ —basically fits with how unless asked, she won’t tell the whole future to someone unless she thinks it’s necessary for them but she’s always ready to help out which leads to her also being—-Neutral Good. I can see her being Lawful Good but I feel she’s more Neutral alligned because she isn’t stupid but she knows that the legal system isn’t always as good as it should be. Plus, being a demigod, you’re bound to break a few laws when trying to kill a Manticore in the middle of a subway plaza.
6. Emotion: Optimisim-Her default emotion and always her go-to thought when the going gets tough. It can come across as annoying to others but she always tries to look on the bright side of things when the situation gets too rough. Even if her thoughts don’t make sense sometimes, it’s just an emotion that she easily grasps more in the presence of others in an attempt to help them, as well as keep her own mind from straying too far to hopeless thinking. That shit gets you killed.
shootinstarfish replied to your photo:Rory: 2: What I’m currently wearing—Nothing cute....
haha oh gosh, that number 14 for Rory is quite scary! And aww, I think that outfit is cute c: Someone’s looking good as he surfs! These memes are a whole bunch of fun. Good practice too!!
Yep yep, it is. And sometimes it's good to just rough sketch everything out rather than trying to make it all pretty.
And as for 14 ahahaha;; It only makes me realize that if you take out her sweetness she does have the capabilities and willpower to kill someone. Thank god for that moment she's just behind a screen.
....Unless we add in neurotoxin.
DR for the OC meme! 15, 23, 24, 17, and 9~
Keep in mind a few of these may be answered with a few more characters aside from the core three I have already made official in the club. But it’ll really depend if the situation calls for it or not.
Because I have nothing else to do with my time besides think about my fictional kids and bug people about them. 8’D
9. Most Social:
—Rory, Friday, Esha/Melanie, Bianca (as an adult rather than her child self ), Dill and Vivian ; Easily, that’s Rory. She’s a bit of a chatterbox so out of them all she’s the social butterfly. After that it’d be Friday, sometimes he’s on par with Rory in this aspect but at the same time it depends on the person and his mood. He’s usually friendly so more often than not, he’s number two here. After that is Esha. She’s more of the watch-from-afar-or-really-up-close until actually spoken to. Melanie on the other hand is usually waiting to sneak around the person rather than actually converse with them, but if she is then she’s up for a friendly chat. Or boasting about her skills. Whichever comes first. Bianca is questionable since she’s usually serene but she was never too social until making her own friends at camp. They’re very influential on her and she’s breaking out of her turtle shell. Dill is a sloth and really too zen to be social. He’d rather for people to come to him rather it the other way around, but he doesn’t mind being on his own.
And Viv…Vivian’s just. It takes her awhile. She’s used to being a loner after so long, that social settings a bit off-putting and manners are rusty with her.
15. Most Honest to Least:
—If we’re adding blunt to this, it’d be: Vivian/Bianca, Friday, Rory, Esha, and then Melanie
—Without bluntness: Bianca, Esha, Dill, Rory, Friday, Vivian, Melanie. Melanie is always last here.
Again it really depends on the situation here which is why I asked about being blunt but in either case, Bianca’s fatal flaw is honesty and as such she’s a bad fibber. Though, right now she’s still in that phase of lacking a brain-to-mouth filter, so her words are always the first thing that comes to her mind whether they be kind or rude. It’s always honest with her. Esha’s pretty innocent herself so she’s not too mindful of what comes out of her mouth, but she knows well enough to keep quiet if it’s a downright mean comment. The reason why Friday and Vivian has varied in spots here is because those two are the type to tell it like it is, regarding the situation. If it’s about themselves then that part usually varies as well. Dill is still a kid-but-almost-a-man, so he’s stuck near the middle along with Rory. Rory’s in the middle since she over thinks a lot about what she says or tries to do, really just wanting to keep the peace. In the end, she’ll usually tell the truth if it’ll help. As for Melanie…she’s got her own reasons for keeping the truth hidden.
17. Most Likely to Save Someone from a Burning Building:
—This is..pretty tricky. Technically out of all of them, Vivian’s the only one that’s fire proof. She’d probably do it without thought if she knew the person. Or out of guilt. She doesn’t like guilt. Anyway from most to least, that’s: Vivian, Friday/Rory, and Bianca would be last because she’s still a kid and fire doesn’t mix well with water. There’d be an attempt but so far, no.
23. Best to Worst Chef:
—Vivian, Rory, Dill, Bianca, Esha and Friday are tied. They cannot cook. At all.
24. Best to Worst Student:
—AU-wise, Vivian would be first. She’s a brainiac and has tendancies to not put up with procrastination. Get that stuff done, son. Aside from that it’d be: Rory—she tends to daydream in her classes but she comes back to earth before the bell rings…plus her prophecy power is a cheat with tests, then Friday—he was actually a pretty good student for awhile, surprisingly. Bianca is up there but her dyslexia is really bad so she has to take after school tutoring. But since this is on merit and not grades, she gets an A for effort. (You see what I did there)
Bianca - 22, 33, 47
22. Given a blank piece of paper, a pencil, and nothing to do, what would happen? —Pretty sure she’d doodle on the paper for a little bit, drawing scribbles of cute things like kittens…fishes..turtles. Smiley faces. Then her attention will most likely wander and she’ll try doing something else with it like making an airplane or making rippy-bits and making something from that.33. Concept of home and family?—Anywhere that there is love and attention. As from experience with her mother when they’d go overseas to visit her family in Italy, she’s used to the idea of a big family where while they get on each other’s nerves, there’s the whole “stuffing you with food because you’re so thin”, “fretting over your clothes to keep them clean and stylish”, and “bearhugs all around” concept of it. So, when she first came to camp it was a little bit of a reality change when she noticed not all of her new found siblings are like that, but she still loves them each one of them because her mother always told her:”Non importa quanto di un dolore che può essere, sono ancora famiglia.”47. How do they express love?—Pretty sure you’re not talking about actual Love of the Romantic sort since she’s still young to experience that, let along a crush. As for platonic kind of love, she’s the type to go and hug someone if they’re down or because she just wanted to. Also I recently figured out that she’s a little stingy with some of the special seashells she collects and after being close with someone, she’ll give them one as a token of their friendship and that she loves them~
Friday - 28, 31
28. Who do they see as their best friend? Their worst enemy?—Ahahahahaha well it’s not at that point yet, so I’ll just state his feelings for now. His best friend would most definitely be Chris, his old college roommate. Worst enemy is Hugo. Which is weird since the two boys are pretty much twins but you know how boys are with their egos.31. Most Prized Posession?—That…would definitely be his father’s pilot’s badge. He’s had it since he was around 9 and is pretty protective over it.
