I'm sorry but I'm still behind schedule. But, I'm really really trying to keep! Gotta post fastttt! :)
Anyway.. That day, my mom and I went to Makati to fit our gowns. It's the usual fitting wherein we had to see if the dress fits, if the length's fine and if we're already happy with the way it looks like. It was just a quick trip for out on a weekday so I think I went overboard by dressing up like this! Hahaha! Oh well, everyday is a fashion show and the world is your runway, right? :)
I'm wearing a kiddie party friendly outfit - nothing flashy or sexy. :)
I wore a light pink floral skirt to give it a girly vibe then I wore a vintage denim top to make the look more casual and simple. :)

Btw, Ralph didn't allow me to wear my heels during the party. Boo! x___x

Ralph and I went to his cousin's 7th birthday party! It was one of the best kiddie parties I've ever been to! Even at my age, I still had loads of fun!!! :) They had food stalls such as potato corner & thumbs up in the party + candy corner (where you can get unlimited number of candies & take them home!) + face painting, nail art, hair styling and accessory making corners & OF COURSE, PHOTOBOOTH! I spent so much time making accessories & taking wacky photos that I wasn't able to get my nails done anymore! Hahaha! :) They had games too & performances! I loved the dance number of Tito Jing, Tita Grace, Pao & Sofi (the birthday girl!) SO CUTEEE! :) Totally loved every minute of our time there! <3
I honestly wonder what it is with the age of 7 that parents usually celebrate it in a grand way. I remember having my biggest and best kiddie party when I turned 7 too, and I think I've also been to & heard of other amazing 7th birthday parties. I've wondered about it for years already and I still haven't gotten any answers to my question! Would you know? 'Coz I'm really curious! Hahahaha! :)
I'm truly blessed to have these wonderful people in my life; they're like my extended family + Tita Grace, Tito Jing, Sofia, Pao, Papa Morrie & Mama Mely. Thank you so much for all the love and the laughs! <3
After Sofia's birthday, we went to Erika's to celebrate Pat's birthday! Ralph had a scheduled run for Outbreak so I went there first. Charades 2.0! BOYS VS. GIRLS! Hahahaha! It was loads of fun, as usual! Hahahaha! :)
Summer means... Beach, Sun, Light or Bright Colors, Playful Prints, Nautical/Stripes! Usually during this season, I wear light clothes or sleeveless tops because the weather's too hot!!! Blazers and layers are gonna be seen less on my summer posts and you're gonna be seeing a lot of armssss! Hahaha! I'll be exposing them a lot this time because wearing sleeveless tops are undeniable so much more comfortable to wear during this season. :)

I'm sure some of you might be wondering why I'm not wearing red. In fact, a friend of mine who saw me that day already asked me the that question. I've read in a few articles that red is not my color this year (thank goodness because I'm not really a red person. I can still count with my fingers the number of red colored items in my closet. Hahaha!) Even my brother confirmed that red is not a good color this year so the rest of the family ditched red and wore something else. Hahaha! :)
I think I've read somewhere that brown is a good color for me this year so I chose that and paired it with the basic black & white. It seems like I chose such gloomy colors for such a happy occasion, but I didn't notice that until now. Hahaha! Plus, we felt so different when everyone around us were wearing red! Literally, everyone. Oh well, I'm just gonna live by the words of Paris Hilton then Hahahaha!: "The only rule is don't be boring and dress cute wherever you go. Life is too short to blend in." :)
Yes, that quote made me feel a bit better for looking different that day. Hahaha! :)

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR! :)
I'm gonna post this ahead of everything else because I don't want the occasion to be long gone again before I get to post it. Hahaha! :)
So, what happened that day? Well, we had a special lunch then we went to Rockwell as usual. :)
Just like having those bad and lazy days when I only feel like wearing a pair of shorts and a sweatshirt or a button-down shirt, I also have this of kind of day wherein I really like to dress up even though there's no special occasion. :)
The lace dress is perfect for a sunday mass outfit, but since it would be too revealing to only wear that inside the church, I wore a soft colored blazer to finish the look. :)
I used a colored necklace to add more color & to brighten up the outfit a bit. If you want a consistent look like this one, make sure the color of the necklace you choose is quite close to the color of your outfit. In this case, the color of my necklace is close to the least dominant color in my look since it may come off as too redundant or monotonous if I still chose a white one. :)

For some reason, this collection makes me happy, excited and nervous all at the same time! :) I hope all the hard work's gonna pay off! :) Yes, I'm the mow-del again. You guys know I go to the office every weekday, I have class every Saturday and it's our family day on Sundays, right? It's gonna be hard to call in models & photographers on a specific day since they all have their own schedules. So, instead of pestering my friends to help me out again, I decided to make SHOPabcd shoots look like my typical blog and Lookbook posts. They're just plain casual; I hope you guys don't mind. :)
