Greetings Fam, I have an important ask today. I am asking you to make it your business to go out and actively support black-owned businesses in Bed-Stuy. We are calling this ”BLACK SUNDAY ”. Additionally, support businesses that actively employ people of color. In Bed-Stuy, we own everything from super comfy coffee shops to delicious and chic restaurants to fly boutiques and vintage shops. We have vegan beauty products and stores offering cultural goodies. We have antique furniture, modern furniture, and even great upholstery options. Bed-Stuy got you. Bed-Stuy has it all! Tour the neighborhood today. See what’s new and good. Shop, take selfies and share your find with friends. Fam when you support black businesses you support yourself, community and entrepreneurship. You help to fuel our community with dollars desperately needed to grow and reinvest (employment) back into the community which is what business owners do when they have the resources/dollars. I am not listing businesses because there are too many and that’s a beautiful thing. I want YOU to tour the neighborhood. Finally, go into that business you pass every day and not go in. Here is a jewel I want you to keep and carry with you: IF YOU CONTINUE TO WALK PASS THAT BUSINESS AND NOT GO IN, the next time you pass that business, it may not be there. I noticed as I walk pass black-owned businesses they are not as busy. Wonderful stores with fabulous items for the holiday. Some owners say people look in but don't stop in. ________ And this is V.
