Carousell is my main online selling platform. I get to sell more items on Carousell than on other platforms I use. Aside from selling, I also buy a lot from Carousell especially when the lockdown was implemented in my country. Although I usually talk about tips on online selling, I'm here to share with you guys some Carousell shopping hacks to help you save money on your next purchases.
Make Shopping Great Again.
So I shop a lot, like a lot.. and I have always been leery of people hawking coupon codes and things like that but I recently signed up for eBates. I know sounds like something your Aunt would sign up for, but recently they have added a few of my key favorite fashion retailers to their roster and I have already gotten at least $100 cash back this month.
Today I ordered a pair of Prive Reveaux glasses, to see if they are actually as good as people say they are for $29 and I was kind of shocked to see that I even got cash back from them there. (I’ll review the glasses next week)
Here is the list of my favorite retailers that are on there: ASOS, Nordstrom Rack, Macy’s, ABC Carpet and Home, AllSaints (yes that AllSaints), Amazon, Anthro, Balfour, BARNEYS(!), Bergdorfs and so many more...

Math Life Hacks
doing mental math with large numbers isn’t easy, and taking your phone out all the time is a hassle. I noticed my friends didn’t know these simple tricks to make buying stuff really easy so just sharing it with the math-hating internet.
Shopping:
You’re at a store. The $40 shirt is 70% off. To find out the cost, 4*3=$12 (before tax). Basically you’re paying 30%. Drop all the zeros, multiply, and then add in the zeros until it makes sense ($200 purse is 40% off so 2*6=12 + “0″ = $120 before tax).
For splitting the bill at restaurants:
Add up the cost items you paid for (drink and entree). Multiply this total by 1.18 (recommended tip) and then multiply again by 1.xx where the xx is the state sales tax.
So to pay for a $7 chicken and $1 drink its...7+1=8*1.18*1.07=$10.10
If everyone does this, the bill will be split in a fair and just manner.

If you are a slender person, shop in the freaking kid's section. Half the time they will have the same clothes at a fraction of the cost. Just find the extra large or 2x and trust me you will fit.
