Dear pensioners, Do you honestly need to do your grocery shopping at peak times on a friday after 5 PM? If yes, do have to ignore everything going on around you and move at a pace that makes people want to push you into the vegetable display?

I'm pretty sure shopping is supposed to be a little less rage inducing than this. Is it too much to ask for to find a jacket that closes in the front? Apparently yes, buttons and zips are so not in this season

Major rant about women's clothing

I am so fucking sick of having to gamble with women's clothes sizes - will it fit, won't it?

I don't really like to try on clothes in the store but I have no choice but to do so everytime I buy something now because whilst I'm a size 12 in one shop I can be a size 18 in another...sometimes I'm both in the same shop depending on what I'm buying.

That being said it doesn't help when I'm buying things I can't try on beforehand like underwear and then I can't return them if they don't fit either.

A few months ago I needed some new underwear. I used to be a size 10 but I've put on weight and now need size 12 underwear. Since I can't afford much I have to go to Primark and I'll buy those 5-packs of underwear. Unfortunately for me those packs are dual sizes, they used to be 8-10 and then 12-14 but now they're 6-8, 10-12 and 14-16. 14-16 will be too big for me but the 10-12 could be too small. I decided to take a chance on the 10-12 and to my delight they fit fine. 

I went back to Primark two days ago for more underwear and bought the exact same style of underwear in 10-12....but guess what these ones are kind of tight and small for me. What's even more annoying is that the 5 pairs of underwear in this pack don't seem to be the same size either...one pair I put on and whilst it was a little tight I could still wear it fine but another pair I couldn't even pull up due to how tight they were.

It's the same when I buy new jeans. I go to Matalan because I just want straight legged jeans and everywhere else just seems to be populated with skinny-this and bootcut-that. Last year size 16 jeans were slightly too tight for me so I had to get size 18s and wear them with a belt because they were slightly too big for me. I needed more jeans last week so went back and picked up a size 18 again...my old size 18 jeans are still slightly too big and I need a belt with them but these new size 18 jeans are too small...how does that even work? Do I have to go back and get a size 20 now? Probably. It's weird because I don't even LOOK that big and I just think clothing sizes are getting smaller and smaller for some reason.

I really don't care about the numbers anymore but I'm really sick of finding something that fits me fine but going back another time and getting the SAME style, SAME brand from the SAME shop and then having it not fit. I just want a little consistency in the sizes, is that too much to ask?

I am so frustrated with this walmart right now! Every time I go towards something I want someone cuts in front and then stands there thinking for 10 minutes! I finally go mad and just grabbed what I wanted before they were done. I've also been rammed by three different morons who can't look where they're going.
