6"x4"x4" S-40 317L True Wye w/Eccentric Reducers on each branch and #150 RF/WN Flanges on all ends (to be X-RAYed) This project has been fun to put together and weld up. 317 in my opinion runs a little bit nicer than 316. 4" S-160 316L Segweld Crosses mgf. From Pipe and 4" S-80 316L Tru Wye. The 160s weren't beveled exactly the same. The required a few double wire fill passes to fill it up. 8"x12" STD C/S 45° Reducing Lateral Over the past year or so I have really been focusing on my root passes. Trying to lay a root that doesn't require me going back having to reweld the backside. Been working with our fitters especially to get them to understand how these fittings fit up and how to approach them to make it easier for everyone. I have the advantage of being able to position the pipe where I want but sometimes you have to make due and make adjustments as needed. For now I'm really pleased with how everything is coming out. Working some 8" S-40 304s. The crosses definitely make for a good learning experience as far as transitioning from rocking (gliding) the cup to actually walking it. Something that I've really had to focus on since using the jumbo cups. The rollercoaster style of it has also helped in where to place the rod to achieve an overall flatter weld. But having to reposition as needed helps too.
