C2E32 - Beyond the Border - rewatch/”liveblog”

....so apparently I just wanted to watch this one without really saying anything.  It happens some time!  Plus real life is just exhausting me right now, so you know, watch for enjoyment.

Two points from Talks – one, Matt is tan as hell, and two, a LOT of the players now keep saying how much they absolutely love Caduceus. ….Whelp, this is gonna be fuck all for a commentary.  Sorry, I’m just enjoying the ride!  BUT, with the knowledge of the wrap up in regards to Gustav, Caduceus’s speech hits really different.  In so far as the fact that it’s pretty much completely off base?  I wonder if we find out exactly what the whisper was.  It’s completely in character, and made tons of sense at the time, but with the wrap up confirming that Gustav knew what Kylrie was and still allowed it, in exchange for an awesome circus, the fact that he was in prison wasn’t so much that he was ‘hiding’ from anything, more of the fact that he felt like it was a step in paying his debt.  I kinda really like that Caduceus was off base here, even though it wasn’t intended, because it’s a step towards his own character growth by end of campaign.

Sam’s voice got SUPER deep after break.

Props to Matt for not telling them about their cart, because he already explained it to them multiple times and now it’s on them.
