Tales in an Ever-changing World.
Each story has a message, such as "fighting doesn't solve anything" and "learn from one another and work hard," to name a couple. The stories also gave me a glimpse into the lives of a different culture, that of Africa. This is a delightful group of short stories to make a person thankful for his or her blessings. The author gives the reader a good look at another world, that in some ways is much the same as my world yet also different. Middle grade readers and even young teens should enjoy reading about the adventures of the cats, rats, and ants, while also learning about the people of another country, Africa. This would make a nice addition to school libraries, public libraries, and your own private library.

Corr belongs to @core4lost A.N: this once i had difficulty trying to chose whenever to do this one or the other one but i decided to go through this au canon wise in order rather than out of order cause why not- oof henry ya don't look too good there pal, would be an shame if you accidently turned into an version of bendy later on. three out of many shorts i'll be doing for my BATIM AU as we all wait for chapter 5, this time i decided to go in canon order for my au ((yes there are canon lore in my au an shocker right?)) also *sips my drink* im not planning anything sinister for henry here people.... not an thing going on that might change anything oof ----------- Bendy was seen trying to get alice to get used to her new body the ink and soul did more than heal her wounds it seemed to have also changed her appearance despite looking more humanoid she still retained the four fingered hands and the pie cut eyes but she would have some trouble trying to walk in this new body "ya sure you got it?" he asks alice as the angel nodded "y-yes im sure ya don't have to be a coach and tutor me!" bendy smirked "aw but doll tutoring is what i live for~" the angel giggled as bendy smirked "there's that's sweet little smile i know we'll all get out of here soon, i promise" she sighed while smiling "i know i know i should'nt get all sad over it but im gonna miss this place it's like we're actually gonna be leaving home" she said as henry walked in back with norman "if, we find an way out of here" he said as bendy nodded "Yeah course we're still looking for an way" he said taking his eyes off of alice for a second to look at corr who was sleeping on the cough with his big blanket that bendy had gotten for him, he smiled at the sleeping young demon as boris walked over "you alright there bendy?" he nodded "Yeah just.. peachy heh...." he said simply getting up and walking off. meanwhile in one of the cleaner rooms on the upper floor the ink demon sat down snoozing off he did'int need to sleep but it was peaceful for him to rest every now and then. the lanky creature made an yawn like snarl as he streched he looked at his wounds they seemed to be healing at an good pace but he still needed that pentagram to fully heal up his more serious injuries. he was wondering what he could do to pass the time. he about one time when he gave the false angel her scars- well when he made the other demon gave those scars, his thoughts suddenly rang back to that moment an sinister grin creeping up on his face. "bendy come on we gotta find more stuff to bring back for the group" he said as the demon followed with boris and alice. bendy was still worried for alice since he thought it was an bad idea for her to be walking around after having just woke up an few hours ago or even an day he don't know all he knew was that they been trapped in this studio for an long long time. as the four walked on bendy was keeping an eye out holding henry's revolver close to him as they walked on bendy looked for any signs of the ink demon wandering about they've been really lucky so far having not run into anything. henry shushed them when he heard big footsteps as they all crouched down and hid need an few boxes. henry looked up and almost vomited. boris looked up too and stared in shock. near them and in front of them was an boris clone but it looked different it looked huge, bulky almost and deformed with it's chest open as it's organs can be seen "what in god's name is that thing...." henry said as bendy looked up "another one of susie's twisted experiments running around" he said as alice stood up "yeah..." she took out her sword "when did you get that?" henry asked as she shrugged "dunna know, found it on our little walk" she said as he held it close "alright maybe if we can just sneak past-" an loud roar what made henry groaned "it's coming for us!" bendy said as the brute boris clone roared and charged at them as henry and the others dodged the creature's charge bendy noticing the brute monster coughing an bit as it held it's chest, none the less the demon transformed into his inked state to protect his family as he snarled and lunged at the brute but he got quickly punched far and toward's the wall as he was dazed but still tried to attack the brute but got punched again this time even harder and towards the ceiling as the demon snarled and lunged landing an deep gash in the brute boris's face but it did'int faze the clone enough as it snarled and bit onto bendy's shoulder and shook the demon around like a ragdoll before throwing him at the wall hard the demon reverted back to his toon form holding his throbbing shoulder in pain "agh! s-shit!" he hissed as fresh ink ooze from the bite. the brute boris growled darkly and walked closer to him henry shot his rifle at the clone's leg causing the brute monster to turn around and snarl. bendy hissed as he knelt back down to the ground he tried getting up but he can't he saw the brute clone punching henry away towards the wall as his eyes widen and glared as he tried again but failed "w-why! why can't i move! i have to help him!" he said to himself but suddenly something reponsed "your weak" he looked around scared now "your broken, weak, and angry, i can help you" the voice placed what seemed to be an clawed glove bendy knew who that belonged to his eyes filled with tears "are you crying? just like i said, your weak, you can't even stay in your true form even if you wanted to, just what kind of protecter are you if you can't even protect your own friends? get angry.... get mad..... and..... kill" the demon did'int knew why but the words were starting to get to them the wounds started to both heal and ooze ink at the same time. he growled as he clenched his fists snarling darkly as he his eyes flashes from normal to off-model repeadtly as an gash like scar appeared on his eye almost like an marking. henry braced for the brute Boris to attack but it didint, both he, Boris and Alice looked confuse to why the brute monster would stop, a pained hissing was heard as Henry turned around his eyes widening wide with shock "b-bendy!" He said as he and the other two toons watched the demon growling in pain and anger, his seals were burning madly but suddenly the demon clawed at the seals and they went off with an dim, the seals were broken. Henry's eyes widen when he saw bendy's appearance starting to change. The demon's fangs enlarged as his spine grew out ink covering his face as his gloves slowly shifted and turned to claws, his spines were turning to an dark blue like color as three middle large spines showed up on the demon's back as the toon kept shifting and turning using the ink to speed up the process. Boris took an step back in fear as Alice gulped, the clone however snarled and walked over towards the scene and pushed away bendy but the toon kept turning and forming into something, the tail changed to an almost pitched fork like tail as three long spines appeared on the tail, long black sharp claws appeared on the demon's reptilian like hands as his clothing started to destabilize his height growing taller and more skeletal almost but bulky at the same time as the bandages he had on his arms also were showed but the ink seemed to have stained them. An loud roar cried out as an shield of ink covered his body as it started to solidify and crack as out emerged an terriflying beast, two pairs of horns as an sinister grin was seen widening with its walrus like tusks. Henry stepped back in fear as the creature made quick work of the clone killing it rather quickly and without remorse as he started to feast upon the body. Boris whimpered as Alice tried to hush up him but an loud roar was heard as the creature looked up having an familiar pair of horns along with a second set of them as an ripped and worn out bow tie was seen on the creature "no...." Henry said as Alice covered her mouth as Boris's ears went down, the seals that held and trapped bendy's true form has broken, the unstable demon has gained its full power back as its gigantic 19 feet height loomed and towered over them, the grin became an fanged grin as the tusks seemed to drip fresh ink from the brute boris's corpse. The trio quickly ran off as the true ink demon has been awakened, it made an horrifying sadistic laugh as it roared in the air loudly. The ink demon watched from nearby as his sinister grin widen more even though it wasn't an part of his plan he was bored and wanted to see how this would play out now that the demon's seals have been broken all thanks to his own words. henry and the two toons were running at fast they can as the unstable demon chased close behind, wings sprouted from the demon's back as it flew and gained speed, henry told everyone to scatter as the demon made an earthquake like slam to the ground as Henry and the others kept running, with an snarl the unstable demon held in his breathe and released an fire breathe. Henry pulled Boris and Alice to the ground as they ducked as the fire went over them. It suddenly stopped as the true ink demon snarled and held his chest and stumbled about almost if drunk as Henry and the two other toons kept running. The unstable demon dogged his claws into the floorboards as he growled darkly as the fanged grin widen an bit more wider. henry and the other two toons panted as they were far enough "w-what do we do?! We can't go up against him when he's at this state!" Boris said as Alice whimpered afraid of what just transfired "alright we gotta keep an calm head, he'll tire himself out eventually we just gotta stay out of his way, you two try making your way back to the safehouse, I'll try to keep finding a way to get to him" Boris and Alice stared in shock "Henry! You can't stand an chance against him when he's in that state! The seals are broken he's free to stay in that form for as long as he pleases!" Boris said as an loud roar was heard "go!" Henry said as Alice grabbed Boris by the arm as the two toons ran off like crazy. meanwhile however corr the small demon was worried about the others they hadn't come back yet corr being the curious and worried little demon snuck out to look for them. It was scary for him to be out wandering looking for them but he was worried sick he heard an lot of big scary roars but he held in his fear and walked onwards. He heard Boris and Alice's screaming as the little demon quickly got worried more and ran on only to stand at a horrified sight, the two toons were badly hurt with inky tears running down their eyes as the creature before them swayed it fork tail from side to side as it snarled with an crooked grin. "B-bendy please don't do this its us your friends!" Boris said with an pleading look in his eyes but the unstable demon didint seem to show any reaction as it snarled and raised his claws when he felt someone got thrown at his head it was an bacon soup can as he quickly snarled and turned around towards the sound to see corr trying to look brave. The ink Demon watched In surprise to see the other demon trying to look brave in front of the true ink demon. The two toons quickly ran off as the true ink demon snarled and lunged at corr but before he could land an attack the ink demon slashed the true ink Demon in the head and on the chest stunning the demon as the gigantic demon snarled and stumbled hissing in pain and he stumbled about. The ink Demon stared at corr before he opens up an portal making one clear snarl as he pointed to the portal as the unstable Demi. Quickly recovered but the ink demon shoved corr into the portal as the ink demon closed the portal and snarled as he made serveal strange hisses as searchers began to ambush the unstable demon as it snarled and stumbled growling darkly giving the ink demon Time to escape. Corr was next to Boris and Alice as the two Toons were hurt and in pain. He wondered why bendy was acting like that but he also wondered why the ink demon would save him. meanwhile though henry was seen wiping off the ink he had on his clothing from getting hurt by the brute Boris earlier, though after he wiped down the ink on his belt and jacket he saw that the ink that was stuck to him was reaching closer. He wondered why though suddenly he felt an burning pain in his chest as he held it and groaned "g-god! what the hell is happ- agk!" he clenched his chest as he stumbled falling as the ink started moving up in a painful way on his body as he felt more and more hurt and confused 'why is this happening?!' then it hit him whenever bendy was around the ink wouldn't go up that fast, that is why it's hurting him now cause without the demon and his magic the curse has free will to cover him as much as it pleased. he screamed as he felt something changing he saw two buttons sprout onto each of his fingerless gloves as he stared in shock he felt his tie changing too he looked as the ink was turning it into an familiar bowtie he stared with an few tears rolling down as he clenched his chest more breathing heavily as suddenly he heard an deep growl nearby 'damn it! n-not now!' he though to himself as he tried someway to make the ink stop and it did. he sighed silently in relief but he couldn't move, the true ink demon was still out and about and he had to find a way to get through with him. the retired animator stared as he saw an edgar clone running for it's dear life as an large green hand grabbed the butcher gang clone as it hissed and struggled. just then an snapping sound was heard as henry closed his eyes hearing the sounds of crunching can be heard as the unstable demon swallowed down the clone as it released an breathe of a growl. henry flinched when he felt his leg hurting he froze when he saw the true ink demon snapped it's attention onto him. 'shit....' he though to himself as the gigantic creature limped over. this was it he though to himself after all they been through he was gonna die, by his own creation. he braced for the incoming pain but it did'int happened, instead he opened his eyes and saw the creature sitting down in front of him placing it's hands on the ground in a gorilla like posture kinda until they were flat on the ground. the two stared at eachother, silence filled the air as henry tried his best to look brave as he glared grinding his teeth as he couldn't help but let out an tear roll down his eye. the true ink demon stared still and showed an grimce of humanity as an huge inky tear rolled down too it's unmoving fanged grin still remaining the same as henry was shocked 'he's still in there...' he though to himself as this might be his only chance "b.....bendy...?" the true ink demon lowered it's head to stare at him more in response. silence still filled the air as henry was wondering if there even was an chance to run, he felt tired for some reason, his body was still in pain from the sudden burning pain the ink gave when it tried adapting to him. the unstable demon still stared as it slowly started to reach out to the other with his hand and henry just braced for his possible demises. an short snarl like hiss was heard as the demon turned around snarling loudly as henry looked over and saw an strange creature, it had features of that of a utahraptor but the neck and tail looked long, almost like snake long the same with the head having an smooth like pattern edge to it. The raptor snarled and lunged attacking the demon as the gigantic creature snarled and threw the raptor away as hnery quickly made his way out. The unstable demon snarled loudly but more raptors started to appear and attack tearing off large chunks of ink as the true ink demon snarled in agony and in pain as Henry stared and tried thinking ".... Dang it.." He pulled out his rifle and saw the raptors starting to make the demon fall to the ground as Henry shot all his bullets in the raptors landing an direct hit in each of their heads, only three remained as they snarled and jumped off of the downed demon slowly making their way towards Henry. An forked tail came piercing grouch the raptor's body as bendy now more angry roared in anger and attacked the last two in a feeding frenzy, Henry now running out of there as fast as he can. it wasn't long after that he met up with Boris, Alice and corr the four were trying to figure out how to snap him out of it, they can still hear the angered roars of the demon. Boris suggested that they should trap him but that would only stress out the demon more and it would break out before they can even try something. Alice suggested that they should wait maybe the demon would tired himself out but they all knew it would take an miracle for that to happen. The only one who would get through to him the best would be Henry himself but he would have to make the demon see what he was doing was wrong, meaning someone who would to lure him. The true ink Demon tossed away an lost soul's head as it growled and swayed its forked tail his teeth dripping with ink. It pulled its claws out of another lost soul's spine as it growled and impaled another one with its tail after it tried to get away from him. The true ink Demon snarled when it heard an sound it ran quickly on all fours as it saw Boris. The wolf yelped as he kept running away from him. After An Few minutes of chasing the unstable demon found himself in a corner he snarls as he looks around. "bendy!" henry said as the demon turned around snarling as he growls "it's me you want! leave them alone!" the angry demon snarled "H E N R Y!" The unstable demon snarled and ran on all fours and lurches and the second he bit henry he felt something touched his face. henry bit his lips to not scream as he felt his teeth dug into his shoulder but he still kept his hand on the demon's head "your okay bendy..... no one's gonna hurt you..." the demon letted go of the man's shoulder and stared with shock as he saw... ink oozing out of the bite wound "...H-H-HENRY...?" the demon said with an few tears rolling down his face "N.N....NO......NOT YOU TOO..... T-THE INK....... IT'S MY FAULT!" the unstable demon snarled as he held his head almost crying. henry noticed the ink oozing from his own shoulder he stared in shock but places both his hands on the demon's face "it's alright buddy... i'll be okay... calm down buddy.... im here..... im alright" the demon snarled sadly as he slowly turned back to normal. both boris and alice were shocked to see this unfold no one ever calmed him down in this state, it seem henry and bendy's bond was much more stronger than anyone else's bond with him. later on after bendy was resting up. lacie went over to henry seeing hims staring at himself "the ink is changing you henry, it's trying to make you become something... don't let it get to you whenever bendy's around his magic keeps the curse at bay, your very lucky to have someone like him at your side" she said as he nodded unsure of how to response as lacie left him to tend to his wounds. meanwhile the ink demon was watching through one of the cutouts, he tilted his head he wasn't expecting something like this to be played out. he shrugged he had his fun for the day as he made an looped growl and wandering off going to patrol the rest of his studios.
Reiner
Reiner is not my first character, and not my last. He was originally a side character and unimportant. He had no backstory and his only purpose was to be a gender opposite of my main gal at the time. He quickly became a fan favourite (and by fan I mean among my small friend group) once his character developed. I fell in love rolelplaying him and just making him more in-depth.
The only issue is I’ve never been able to have a decent face claim for him. I use three images, but these are for personal reference and I don’t own any of them. I have a perfect image of what he looks like in my mind, down to every skin mark, but I can’t express it (which is extremely frustrating) and it’s times like these I wish I could draw.
The closest I’ve come to an example of his face would be slender like Tom Hiddleston’s, sharp and strong like Michael Fassbender’s and then some other different features.
So who is Reiner?
Reiner is one of two of a kind. He’s a being from a limbo of sorts realm which is home to the few beings who deal with those who die. Most commonly thought of as ‘reapers,’ they are ageless entities that watch over all life. There are only a few of these reapers. Enough for each to have a specific job. Dealing with the lives of young, the lives of old, the murdered and so on. Reapers are not so much physical creatures, but more things that just are. A/N: I often don’t have names for things...
I’ll try not to reveal his entire story in one post, but hopefully over time.
