Warning: Kidnapping

"Where did you learn how to drive?" Villain shouted from the backseat.

Hero clenched their jaw gripping the steering wheel tight. "Usually the kidnapee doesn't talk."

Villain glared at Hero. "Usually the kidnapper isn't the worst driver in the world. I hope a cop pulls you over and sees me tied up in the backseat."

"No one has texted to see if you're doing ok. Pity." Hero said walking around the bound Villain with Villain's phone in their hands.

"Pity." Villain said looking down at the floor.

"That means." Hero said stopping in front of Villain. "I get you all to myself."

"Why did you set my couch on fire?" Hero screamed throwing water on the fire.

"You said you wanted a distraction." Villain yelled back.

"Yes at the auction tonight. Not now in my living room."

"I love the plan, but can I request that we do it in two days?" Sidekick had their hand raised high in the air.

"Why?" Supervillain asked through gritted teeth.

Sidekick lowered their hand and started twiddling their thumbs. "I just have a big final I can't miss tomorrow, and I want to see you take Hero down."

Hero curled up under the blanket and covered their eyes.

"Wow who knew the city's mightiest hero was scared of a movie." Villain laughed.

"You had to pick the scariest one." Hero said snidely from under the blankets.

"Why are you..."

Hero took a step back. "You lied to me. You made me trust you and then you used me."

Superhero stepped forward. "I never..."

"Why should I believe you now?" Hero backed up into Supervillain's open arms.

"What did you tell them?" Superhero glared at Supervillain.

"Just the truth." Supervillain smiled and grabbed Hero's arm and in a flash they were gone.

Thought #12

"That looked like it hurt." A soft voice came from above Villain.

Villain had teleported directly into a wall and was now sprawled out in the middle of the alley. They looked up at Hero. Hero was perched on the fire escape railing smiling down at them.

Villain rolled their eyes. "Why are you here?"

Hero shrugged. "I thought you would want a teacher."

Villain got to their feet slowly. "What could you possibly do?"

Hero tilted their head and smiled. Suddenly they were standing next to Villain. "I happen to know a thing or two about teleporting."

Villain jumped back.

Hero walked around them with their hands behind their back. "Haven't you ever wondered why you can never catch me?"

Villain watched them walk around the alley. Their face slowly changing from fear to glee. "I knew you would take the bait. They're all yours boys."
