SHORTITE Colour: yellow, brown-yellow, grey, pink, mauve and colourless. Found in: Canada, India, Russia, Tajikistan, Uganda and the US Shortite is an extremely rare mineral, only found as recently as 1940, and is named after MN Short, a professor of mineralogy of the early twentieth century.
