Wondering about reblogs and likes (specifically about the lack of them), I have came to the theoretical conclusion that Tumblr is probably full of blogs without any attention, reblogs, followers and such. Maybe that's too far-fetched, but people are kinda like Tumblr blogs. There are a lot of popular ones, and many of them are popular for a reason, but, well, most of them are just gems hidden under a thick layer of geode stone. Adored by little to no one, they remain hidden and unattended for decades. Some of them finally get their time to shine, but mostly they just turn to dust, never to be seen in their full potential.
This turned a lot more sinister than I thought. Sorry to anyone who deemed this text somewhat traumatizing. On the other hand, being a gem is a great joy by itself. Reflecting on yourself is beautiful, since lacking other point of view in your life usually leads to development of multi-pointed sight that allows to see oneself by own eyes in all the perspectives accessible. And the reflection is a good thing when assessing your abilities and ambitions, it helps to develop first to better serve second, as well as calibrate second to be manageable by first. Just don't dig too deep — your tubes might get damaged and then your soul just spills.
