Hello! I'm starting my wardrobe this year and have been sifting through Taobao (as it's in my budget). It seems that though blouses that fit are much harder to find than dresses. Is it alright for me to buy a 40 cm (shoulder width) blouse if my shoulder width is 41-43 cm? Where can I find good big blouses? I hope it isn't a bad question. Have a good day!

This a great question. When it comes to shoulder measurement I wouldn’t recommend getting any smaller than your actual size because there usually isn’t going to be a lot of give and it can make the blouse very uncomfortable when you try to move your arms. As someone with pretty broad shoulders I’ve experienced this quite a few times. Some of my favorite blouses are ones like this that have elastic in the neckline which gives the shoulders some room to move:

Alternatively I would recommend looking into brands that offer custom sizing like Surface Spell Gothic and HMHM on Taobao, Lady Sloth, and Fanplusfriend just to name the first ones that come to mind. It can sometimes take a little digging to find what you want this way, but it’s better than getting something you’re not comfortable wearing.

(at least with the mask on LMAO) the only advice is to focus on the present and the future than your past! 🤍 yes, totally confess! if not now, then when? my motto is yolo 💅🏼💅🏼
