ENHYPEN’s ideal type | Jake edition
synopsis: my very humble take on each Enha member’s ideal type. I’m a lot into human psychology and analysing behaviours. Still, this is of course, based only on my intuition and my existence as an ENGENE for 6 years now.
( first of all: people seemed to like my Jungwon ver. Of this which is a relief cause I feel like I’m all over the place, trying to put my thoughts into words but y’all seemed to get me so😭🫶🏻).
HEAR ME OUT: love at first sight victim. Of course I’m not talking about full on in love, but I do think it only needs one special detail about you and you’ll have this boy thinking about you every single time he goes to bed. And giggling to himself like an idiot in love ; he tends to idealise things too.
(Btw this is based on this ONE fan interaction Jake kept talking about later on, when this fan had a British accent, iykyk. That’s what I’m talking about.)
I also believe that Jake is attracted to the most random things, it doesn’t have to be appearance. I think he’s genuinely also into “smart” people, people who have random interests. You know these type of people who drop the most random facts out of literally nowhere. “By the way, did you know…?”, I think he’s hella attracted to that for no reason. Someone who’s open and has a wide range of knowledges, the “nerdy type”, just like he is. If we’re in a school setting, he’s 100% crushing on the top of the class simply for the fact that they’re so hardworking and smart.
Picture this: studying with Jake, you’re just minding your business, head in the books and he’s resting his face on his hand, watching you through his huge ahh glasses, admiring the way you’re slightly frowning as you’re trying to get the hang of things.
This is such a weirdly specific scene, but I can totally see if you’re, for example, a lot into like star constellations and astrology and stuff, Jake would 100% go stargazing with you and fall for you 10 times harder if you explain the constellations to him.
I think Jake is attracted to “gentle souls”. I always imagine him liking someone who is calm, balanced and seeks harmony. An introverted person, who has a caring personality. He finds it insanely attractive when a person treats others well. I think he would definitely watch your interactions with strangers, elderly, kids and animals and find himself smiling so much, when you’re just genuinely kind to everyone and just know how to act? You know what I mean? These kind of people who make kids and elderly smile, are randomly liked by cats, those type of people.
SUNSHINE - types, they just radiate warmth. Jake likes people who feel warm; soft features, calm smile, gentle aura, smelling like vanilla and cotton. Someone, he can just come home to after a long day of work and rest his head in their lap and have their fingers run through his hair.
This is kinda vague, but he also likes funny people. Which, yeah what kind of funny does Jake like? He definitely finds rudeness off-putting, so someone who makes jokes about others will definitely be a no-go for him. Someone who isn’t afraid to laugh at themselves, who can joke about the silliness of life and tell random stories of interactions they had.
I think once Jake has fallen for someone, he will become very clingy and try to just spend as much time as possible with them. So don’t expect a nonchalant guy, you WILL NOTICE that he’s fallen for you. He won’t be very vocal about it at first, but it’s the way he looks at you. Longing gaze, soft smile, slight frown. He graduated from the yearning university. No - he invented it.
