TV Show Release Preferences

in my opinion, the midnight PST release schedule a lot of streaming services are doing is bad. so I'm curious: when is most convenient for you to sit down and watch a show?

Do you think they'll recast Hyacinth and Gregory when they get up to seasons 7 and 8? If they don't, won't Will and Florence still be too young to play sexually active adults by then?

Well considering that both Florence Hunt and Will Tilston are 15 right now and that one season of Bridgerton takes practically two years to film I think that by the time Eloise and Phillip’s season starts to be filmed Will and Florence are probably going to be 18 or older already. So recasting will start feeling like it’s not worth it pretty soon.

In TSPWL Eloise makes a point to call Gregory ‘infant’ because despite being a legal adult everybody treats him like a baby, and given that by then, Will Tilston should have turned 18 or 19, it will fit the narrative to just keep the actor and adjust the plotline just a tiny bit to fit around both him and Florence.

Let me give you a rough timeline estimates for the Bridgerton releases. Barring no inconveniences or unexpected filming delays:

2022 S2 gets released, actors are taking a break

they will start filming S3 sometime in the middle of this year to release S3, Which is Benedict’s season, around the end of 2023 or the beginning of 2024,

they take a break, filming for Colin’s season begins in the middle of 2024 to be released in the end of 2025 or beginning of 2026,

take a break, Eloise season begins filming in the middle of 2026, to be released at the end of 2027 or beginning of 2028,

then Francesca’s season begins filming during 2028, to be released at the end of 2029 or beginning of 2030

Which would leave us with Gregory and Hyacinth’s seasons beginning to film in 2030 and 2032 respectively.

In 8 to 10 years Florence Hunt and Will Tilston are absolutely going to look their character’s age. Of course, this is just a rough estimate, if producers decide to mesh two books in one season somewhere down the line, we could be looking at a 5-to-6-year timeline. Which will still be enough time for Will and Florence to come of age. Ruby Stokes is the youngest adult cast member and she’s 21. With the majority of the main character cast members being 25 and over. I think it’s safe to say that there’s not going to be a recasting for Gregory and Hyacinth.

Oh, HAI? It’s 2023.

Wow I completely missed last year, but I did have REASONS. So if anyone is actually still out there following me, and likes this sort of thing, here’s my 2023 lineup.

As always the shop is open, but the place place to see EVERYTHING I might have is the IG feed. (This is especially true during the spring/summer convention seasons when I am super busy and stock turnaround happens quickly!) Thanks for looking!

Calvin's show schedule is...

...intense this weekend. He's got Ushuaia on Friday, Belsonic in Belfast on Saturday, & Sunday night at Something in the Water in Washington, DC. He can, of course, sleep on his jet but he will still be putting out a lot of energy over 3 consecutive days.

I'm still concerned about the potential for crowd control issues in DC. Or some crazy militiamen showing up to disrupt the celebration of Juneteenth. I hope I'm just being over-anxious in general & nothing bad happens.

But hey, have you noticed the USA is on the brink of civil war & people are losing their fucking minds? There are mass shootings almost every day & domestic terrorists are plotting to destroy our government. I tell you it wasn't this bad in the 60's. Sure, the Weathermen blew up a Federal building & the Black Panthers were fully armed but there was never a daily threat to the very foundation of our society. Remembering that makes me wonder why the MAGATs are over-confident about victory. Do they really believe Blacks & Leftists haven't served in the military & don't own guns?
