The Chi 1x1 | Pilot
There was plenty of rejoicing among Billions fans as Damien Lewis appeared on the first episode of the show's final season. After a year away, Lewis is back as billionaire stock trader Bobby Axelrod, and it appears he's set to play a pivotal role in the show's final story arc. Over the years, we've spoken to Lewis about playing Axelrod, and he gave us some insight into the motivations that go into the character.
Billions airs Sunday nights on Showtime and is currently streaming on Paramount+.
Showtime Network Rant
Showtime only received 15 Emmy nominations today which I feel is Karma for canceling Masters of Sex and Penny Dreadful while pushing their new series Twin Peaks, the failed Roadies and I’m Dying Up Here. It makes it worse when you consider that out of the 15 nominations at least 5 of them were from Masters and Penny Dreadful. Had Showtime used it’s resources to promote Penny and Masters when they were on and given them the attention they deserved they would have done so much better but instead they treated them like discarded step-children, changing the premiere dates, the number of episodes and not even giving the fans the consideration of knowing that we were watching a series finale! Great business tactics to say the least! I no longer am a Showtime subscriber and will not be until they make some serious changes in how they treat their customers. Sad that so many good programs get wasted on a network not willing to put in the time and energy needed to boost wonderful shows. I do understand that Sony is also to blame for the cancelation of Masters of Sex as well given that it was the production company and there is no love lost their either. The fact that there was no Season 3 or Season 4 DVD release for Masters of Sex in the U.S and the Season 4 DVD abroad has no special features is lame. In my opinion there should be a box set release for the series which includes the special features like, interviews, gag reels, and commentaries. Give us something for our loyalty!
That is the end of my rant but I felt like saying something, so I did. Have a great Thursday!

Originally, Your Honor was ordered by Showtime as a miniseries, and it seemed that the story had been wrapped up pretty neatly at the end of its run. However, it was then decided to extend the story into a second (and final) season, which posed a unique challenge to its star, Bryan Cranston: Where do you take a character whose story has seemingly been told? Cranston talked to us about how he and the show's producers went about building a new character arc for the second season.
Your Honor airs Sunday nights on Showtime.
Benedict was present via satellite (from Atlanta where they’re filming Infinity War 4!!) during a panel for Showtime Networks at The Critics Association. He talks about his role in and as Patrick Melrose.
