I'm finally done with my axehound fanart concept! I enjoyed the mental puzzle of designing a creature that's basically a shrimp-dog, while trying to strike a balance between the official visual and my own vision. These are the first pencil and marker thumbnails I started with. Axehound is from the novel series Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson.

Also trying out this app but it gives a lot of artifacts on solid color areas even on Low setting with High render time... 😪
