“I swear it was an accident.” Nai and Maddy \o.o/

There was a loud rumble that seemed to shake the entirety of the manor, coursing and winding through the halls as two pairs of feet bounded through them. They were frantic, the much taller Elezen woman leaping over chairs and banisters as the tiny Miqo’te nimbly ran around these obstacles. 

“I swear it was an accident!!” Nai screamed with sheer glee, completely unconvincing. Madelaine, on the other hand, wore a face that was stone cold in seriousness… and completely covered in childish drawings of genitalia and the like. It was far too early in the morning, and Nai had already set to prank her rather cruelly as Erimmont simply looked on with a cup of coffee in one hand and The Mythril Eye in the other. A wide smirk crossed his lips as he heard Madelaine threaten bloody murder, and the other woman simply laughed.

After a while of this, the two women finally sat down, panting and near keeling over in their exertion. Nai, it seemed, had earned a few crude markings on her face as well, and they were an absolute comedic mess at the table. Erimmont burst out laughing at the sight, and they both pouted their lips at him.

“It was actually his idea you know, Maddy.” Nai pointed across the table at him as he wiped a tear from his eye in laughter. She stuffed a piece of honey toast in her mouth, and motioned to him with the rest of the slice. “For the pancakes. Remember?”

Once again, there was murder in her eyes as she regarded the Elezen man coldly. He grinned. “Revenge is oh so sweet, my dear associate.” And at that, he took off running, with Madelaine in hot pursuit.

Nai swished her tail happily as she enjoyed her breakfast amidst the chaos, humming softly to herself. “Gods, I fucking love Elezen.”

Sasaxia: “This One likes Sneaky Sneaks!” Sasaxia cheered before leaning backwards, getting comfortable. “But This One is no good at listening. Tall Ones have sillyspeak.” Erimmont: “Mon-Tee think so too. Like Sylph-talk better. More fun.” Madelaine somewhat clears her throat at that, guilty of the silliest speak, according to Grey. Erimmont laces his arms around the girl as though she were a doll, even lightly bouncing his knee a bit for her. Sasaxia: “Mhm! This One will never get Tall One-speak. But does not need to! Are okay to understand.” Erimmont: “Well, Mon-Tee promise not use Tall One-speak with Sasaxia. Our secret, yes yes?” Sasaxia: “Mhm! Secret with Mon-Tee and Maddy~! This One likes secrets. Has many secrets~!” Madelaine: “I believe with time, you will be able to listen well, Sasaxia. And even were you to do so, we do not mind your Sylph speak. You can speak freely here, in your home.” Erimmont rolls his eyes, lowering his head to whisper to the Sylph. “Sasaxia and Mon-Tee need teach Maddy proper Sylph-speak. Hurt Mon-Tee’s head.” Madelaine has to bite her lip to keep from bursting out laughing. Sasaxia: “Tee-hee~! Could use tricky trick to trap and teach!!” Madelaine: “Oh, gods. Saying that will make Monty too excited, Sasaxia.” Erimmont gasps, peering at Maddy while still whispering to Sasaxia. “Mon-Tee think she has idea of tricky trick. Best wait and make surprise in-case she know.” Sasaxia nods furiously.

Because evidently I'm silly when tired and sent you a fan mail instead, here we are again: What is Lachance's idea of a romantic evening?

Hahaha it’s totally fine~

Madelaine’s idea of a romantic evening... Honestly, she enjoys the quiet and secluded. Any place that is open-air would be a nice plus, but that’s not the most important feature to her. To have a truly romantic evening, in her eyes, would be to create an environment where she and her date focus on each other. To drink in another’s presence, to really talk to them, know them, and understand where they come from. 

Another plus would be sharing something together. Like a meal, or a drink, or tea, or sweets--anything like that. Even sharing a book, reading together--That’s romantic to her. If it feels like you are the only two people in the world at that very moment, that is romantic. It’s for these reasons that she prefers late nights to any other time of the day. The time when people should normally be asleep; when it’s quiet, and you feel like you should whisper so you don’t wake anyone.

Two questions in one, if only for the sake of simplicity. The first: When it comes to Erimmont, just what is it about the man that leaves her so coy? The second: Aside drinking and breaking the hearts of many a man and woman, what sorts of hobbies does the Lady Lachance get herself into?

Erimmont is sort of a wild card for her, honestly. Normally, she tends to have reservations in interacting with other Wildwoods, if only because her upbringing and past involvement with them has been completely unsavory. But talking to him has proved that he is very much unlike the close-minded Wildwoods that her family was, and not only that, his profession and hobbies leave him to be more receptive to other cultures and ways of thought. She’s pleasantly surprised by that, and add to the fact that they got along well enough to talk for an entire night is a pretty special feat in itself.

Other hobbies that Madelaine dabbles in... Well she consumes books like an Ul’dahn Noblewoman consumes rare silks. She is a frequent at libraries, and her favorite subjects to read are mysteries, thrillers, and espionage drama. 

Another hobby that she has is a rather sentimental one. Occasionally, she will go through Hawker’s Alley, or other merchant wares in Ul’dah. She’ll examine the leatherware being sold, and check if any are from Fen-Yll Fineries. She can tell just from the stitch work what wares were crafted by her father, and she gets a fair bit nostalgic from it. It’s actually rather masochistic of her to do this, but it is simply one way for her to connect to her father now that they aren’t on speaking terms.
