Burning Man exhibit @ the Cincinnati Art Museum.
Shrumen Lumen by Foldhaus Collective, as part of the Renwick's No Spectators: Art of Burning Man exhibit, is a wildly imaginative depiction of interactive art.
Using origami as their primary inspiration, Foldhaus creates these whimsical, plant-like sculptures, most of which can move. When the ring at the foot of the sculpture becomes green, patrons can step into that spot and watch the mushroom grow or shrink.
It feels like a little bit of fantasy and magic actually entered reality. And I can't imagine what it must've felt to see something like this in the desert.
NO SPECTATORS. (01)
