i joked once about dan writing the malec spinoff (not a real thing, but it should be) and i received this ask in response, and my opinion remains the same today.

you’re so right and i was thinking about this a few days ago. david and magnus both have dealt with a great deal of trauma in their lives, and both of them are sort of stunned that someone is willing to support them through it all. emotional fragility and steadfast love babey!
