Kokichi decides to not let this drabble be the cute that it’s asking to be.

Kokichi pinches Kaito’s cheek, laughing when he swats it away with a grunt. He can’t get a satisfying enough grip on it, unfortunately, but that doesn’t stop him from doing it again.

“Knock it off,” Kaito protests, as if that won’t just spur him on even more.

“But you said the cutest thing in your sleep last night!” Kokichi’s voice is pitched higher, teasing, drawing out his words with a thick ‘aww’ attached to the tail end of them.

This might be a kind of vague/confusing question, but how does DICE work/function? Do they have like a “home base” kind of thing? If they do, where would it be (since the members are from all around the world)? If they just keep moving around, then where would they practice their routines (and keep all their equipment/clothes/etc)? Do they live together or something?

D.I.C.E. doesn’t need a “home base” of operations with how D.I.C.E. functions.

In Twins AU, me and L have decided to make it so D.I.C.E. is actually a huge organization with over 10,000 members, but the people in the motive video are the first and main faction of D.I.C.E.

D.I.C.E. is a pacifistic organization that aims to better the world in various different ways. Kokichi’s faction relies on specifically entertainment while other factions might rely on charity, politics, volunteer work, or heroic work like working in the legal systems of their respective countries, becoming fire fighters, ectect. D.I.C.E. starts as a basking, traveling circus, but the motives and Kokichi’s influence inspires more and more people to do their part in trying to make things better for everyone. 

Every faction simply calls or emails Kokichi to report back to him/ask for advice, and he responds to them asap. There is no need for a base of operations since every faction of D.I.C.E. is doing a different part in order to accomplish their goals.

Side note: Kokichi does yell at other factions if they do not take their afternoon breaks. Take your breaks you shits! He also actually does settle disputes with games and encourages the other factions to resolve conflicts in peaceful and non violent manners.

To be honest, it’s not a very organized organization, but rather a movement--a group of several thousand different people all inspired by Kokichi to do their part in making the world they live in better. How you attempt this is up to the factions and individual members, but the only real requirement is that your actions are non violent and peaceful. Otherwise, do your best. 

It’s a very heartwarming organization, and the only reason why Kokichi calls it an “evil organization” is to protect it. Can’t find out about D.I.C.E. if he’s purposefully misleading everyone into thinking it’s fake and/or evil after all. 

As for the main faction, or Kokichi’s circus faction, they constantly move around, and practice their routines mostly on beaches that aren’t popular. This is mostly due to Glenn’s fire dancing, so they end up performing mostly on beaches for safety.

This is kinda a general question, but can you elaborate on Ranji and the twins’ relationship? How did he go from being a stranger to a parent figure for them? Did he have a lot of trouble getting through to them at first?

I think I've mentioned this somewhere on some blog or another, but I can elaborate on it again now!

Ranji was originally a wealthy, famous chef in India and had a loving wife and kids. He was in the pinnacle of his life, but then a car accident killed his wife and children. Ranji fell into a really deep depression that cost him his job, and he was barely living for several months.

This is important to note because timing is key when it comes to Ranji and the twins, because the Twins came into Ranji’s life during a very critical point in Ranji’s grief, and while it might not have been healthy, Ranji latched on to these homeless, basking children (Glenn included) after being thoroughly wowed by their shows. Once he learned they were homeless, Ranji offered them his home as shelter for free, and even started cooking for them again--which he had stopped doing for the most part during the months in between his first family dying and meeting his second family. Taking care of them brought Ranji out of the rut he was in, and he was able to actually start living again. In a way, the twins and Glenn saved his life in this regard, which is why he becomes so attached to them so quickly.

The twins weren’t as quick to trust Ranji, however. Kokichi found him to be strange and was really skeptical, but the twins learning about his family probably softens them up to him now that they can understand why Ranji is being so kind to them. Considering how he takes care of them for a long time and makes them all food for free, they start trusting in his kindness and to be honest, they probably latch on to him too because they never had a proper father figure before. They never had a father that loved them so warmly and gently, someone who cherished them as children. Ranji reminded them that they are children, and spoiled them with treats, gifts, and love. 

When Kokichi and Kurochi decided it was time to go, Ranji and the twins had especially gotten close as family, to the point where Ranji adopted them and liquidated all of his assets to join them, and further take care of them. He buys them laptops and cell phones and other things, so they could have some semblance of an education online and able to communicate better with each other. Ranji also probably makes a hefty income in later countries because he can actually get hired as a chef, even if it’s part time. Not that it mattered much to the twins if he could get them money or not--by that point, they loved him as their dad, and wanted him around regardless.

what are Jaden’s biggest strengths/weaknesses (either as a character/in general or however else you want to answer) ?

Jaden’s biggest strength is kinda obvious--his creativity, imagination, and skill when it comes to art and creating photorealistic work. This in turn makes it very easy for him to pay attention to small details, which in turn makes it easy for him to be able to tell when someone is faking an emotion or wearing some kind of mask.

That actually ties to his weakness--his paranoia and distrust of people who wear said masks. He doesn’t trust people who lie, because he doesn’t initially understand that lying =/= malicious intent. He’s actually pretty naive when it comes to the subject of morality, even though he always tries to do the right thing and be good. He does eventually learn to trust Kokichi when he realizes what’s beneath that mask, but he doesn’t really unlearn this mindset.

Jaden also has a nasty habit of shutting down when he’s upset, and doesn’t immediately talk about something that’s bothering him, as he’s afraid of confrontations and making others upset. However this tends to explode in his face and hurt himself and others in the process. He’ll open up to his brother, but rarely with anyone else, with Kurochi being a close second.

I might have already asked this, but does Ranji have any hobbies other than cooking?

Before his family died, Ranji used to be christian and a lot of his free time was spent either with his family or practicing his religion.He would watch television with his kids and wife, but other than that, he didn’t really have much time to take up hobbies or peruse any interests. He had his cooking, family, and god, and that was all he needed.

Losing his wife and children almost completely destroyed his faith,and joining the twins and Glenn in their travels had him picking up a few different things here and there, like reading, learning different languages, and learning about different cultures and traditions. He probably loves spending time with the twins and learning about their hobbies and interests rather than exploring his own.

I imagine Ranj is good at singing opera, or just singing in general. His voice is a powerful, deep voice, or in opera terms, a “Helden” and “Bass.” You can probably catch him humming while he’s cooking if he’s in a good mood, but he probably doesn’t full-out sing unless he’s drunk and merry. He used to be a choir boy in his youth, tidbit!

what kinds of things/activities does Alana like ?you mentioned that it was hard to make her bouncy and excited, so what would get her to react like that ??

Alana's kind of “bouncy and excited” isn’t the typical hyper kind you might be thinking of, but she does get like. Tiny little bounces. Rocking on her heels in anticipation, squirming with excitement, maybe a tiny little hop or two. She’s definitely like a happy baby bunny.

Things that make her excited are: rabbits and holding a rabbit, doing her cyr wheel act, watching the family perform their own acts, eating her favorite snacks and sweets, playing in the sand at beaches, snowfall and Christmas, giving and receiving gifts, wearing cute dresses and skirts, and a lot more simple things. She’s pretty childish in nature due to her not having a proper childhood, so more childish things make her more excited. Take her to Disney World and she might die from her soft bouncing. She also loves dancing.

what does Jaden usually draw/paint (landscapes/scenery, people (other than his bf uwu), just things that catch his eye, etc.)? Is most of his work realistic? or does he like to do cartoony stuff sometimes too?

Jaden mostly paints digital images of... anything that catches his eye really! People, scenery, animals, anything. He finds most of his inspiration to be natural scenes and vivid colors from nature. Most of Jaden’s art is hyper realistic, even when he draws surreal art that is physically impossible in reality. A lot of the time, Jaden’s art is mistaken as photography.

I imagine he doesn’t do it often, but if he’s just mindlessly doodling he’ll draw slightly cartoonish. He overall prefers realism though.

okay so these are kinda general questions about my favourite soft bi boy: what’s his sense of humour like? you said he likes nature, so does he take care of any houseplants? does he like music (what’s his favourite genre)? Sorry if any of these have been asked before !!

Oh boy, lots to answer!

Jaden’s sense of humor is pretty tame, and really only finds very light teasing to be funny. He’s also the kind of person who’d find animal videos cute or funny as long as the animals aren’t being hurt. He probably likes clean stand up comedy. 

Jaden absolutely loves taking care of plants! He’s pretty good at it too! Not Ultimate Talent worthy, but he can probably grow a garden and sustain it all by himself.

I don’t think Jaden is the type to really have a personal favorite genre of music, but he does prefer instrumentals hands down. He likes classical music a lot, and calming music in general soothes his soul. That doesn’t mean he won’t dance to things like J-pop.

And no worries! None of these have been answered before I think!
