Diary Entry 1.
It is with great pleasure Today I have made the acquaintances of a Tsunami Mitsuki and Kakemono Otoko, two of the inhabitants of this so-called Archive. The Archive, wherein students such as myself are trapped for an indefinite period of time - and the only way to escape is via another's untimely end.
Stipulations aside, the two I encountered responded with the notion that this elaborate show was the result of upperclassmen pranksters. An act no doubt worthy of being displayed on some variety show. Despite this, or perhaps because of this, they came to the aid of those who had fainted or otherwise fallen into unconsciousness from the sheer shock of their new circumstances. Not that anyone could blame these fallen - there is precedence for their fears. See: The Despair Incident.
In time, the true nature of the game will be revealed. But that is no reason to shy away from prudence and caution. And I look forward to seeing how my peers will react to the inevitable as well.
