the joke is that one time i expressed my affection for the french language by saying i wanted to CONSUME THE FRANCAIS/MANGE LA FRENCH

it caught on as a meme for a few nights in a row

now ‘consume’ is just general shorthand for anything related to french))

Togami was getting sick and tired of students walking through the halls in bizarre costumes. Every day he saw more and more deviations, from ridiculous piercings to miniskirts that hardly covered a girl’s underwear. The school had a dress code for a reason, but apparently everyone thought it was simply a joke. It was all an annoyance, something to stew on but not to act on until the final straw hit the stack. A full suit and top hat? Complete with red ribbon? It was too much. 

He caught up to the offending student no time, tapping him sharply on the shoulder.

“I’ll have you know, everything you’re wearing is a violation of dress code, not to mention a complete eyesore.”
