So...... does this mean sie was originally a binary woman and this part wasn't edited properly? That's not how traditional publishing is supposed to work. They're supposed to be more than one person reading this to catch things like this.

oof! That was almost certainly my fingers, which are much more accustomed to typing "she" than "sie" and then the copyeditor didn't catch it either. I'm sorry! Shtel was never a binary woman and was always "sie" from the beginning of planning the novel. This is definitely down to my own flaws as a typist and proofreader.
