Ah this just popped into my head, but I had a really cute thought of Haru playing Animal Crossing and just showing her island to Ren and Goro. I bet she would love that game and have a very pretty island with flowers everywhere.

Ren probably has a very nice-looking island too. So he'd have a lot of pointers and feedback to give her. (And he makes pretty patterns.)

But as for Goro, I wouldn't be surprised if he was the type who plays it for a while and then forgets about it. But he probably gets back to playing it a bit more consistently once the three of them start playing together every few days. Plus, he likes seeing the other two having so much fun.

Out of all three of them, I think Ren would be the one who takes the most pictures. Or at least he tries to.

Haru doesn't mind it. She always agrees with a smile whenever he asks to take a picture of her or with her.

As for Goro... Most of the pictures Ren takes of him end up having him with either a grumpy face or a weird expression. That is, when he asks to take a picture. It's less him being actually angry and more him not being sure how to take pictures with his genuine self rather than that fake smile he always showed to the media. So whenever he catches Goro smiling genuinely, he sneaks a picture as fast as he can without him noticing.

Haru actually joins in on that, also taking cute pictures of Goro every now and then. Her and Ren share them with each other all the time.

(Goro finds out eventually and is a bit embarrassed about it. But again, he isn't really angry. He's actually glad that Ren and Haru like seeing his genuine self so much.)

Ann: You guys are dating! I know it!

Goro: No we aren't.

Ann: What do bees make?

Goro: Honey.

Ren and Haru, automatically: Yes?

Ren: Wait, fuck.

Haru: Oops.

Goro: I can't believe I fell for that.

Ann: Don't you lie to me ever again.

I'm feeling kinda hungry right now (as in the moment I am queueing this post), so that gave me the idea to do some food/cooking headcanons!

Ren is the one with the most cooking experience and the best skills of the three. Even before coming to Leblanc, he was used to cooking very often. And now that he has two people to impress, he puts a lot of effort into becoming the best cook around. He can cook pretty much anything. And if Haru or Goro mention anything he still doesn't know how to cook, he'll learn it as quick as possible. However, given his love of spicy food, that means he doesn't know much about sweets.

Haru didn't really have that much cooking experience. Given her family's money and status, I wouldn't be surprised if she had someone else hired to cook. But once the three of them start dating, and Ren reveals he doesn't know how to cook that many sweets, she takes the opportunity to fill that hole and also make something nice for them. So she learns how to make all sorts of sweets. She isn't as much of a master yet, but she is making very good progress.

Goro is the one with the worst cooking skills for literally anything. He barely even eats proper food all that much anyways. (Flashbacks to that mementos dialogue about him eating only an apple for lunch.) But even if he isn't cooking for them, the other two still insist on teaching him how to cook at least stuff he can make for himself so he isn't just eating either unhealthy food or nothing.

I suck at putting my feelings into words properly, but... One of the things that make ShuAkeHaru so appealing to me is just how much potential there is in there for both angst and fluff.

Like, obviously with everything that has happened it would be tough for ShuAke and AkeHaru to get together, and the ShuHaru adds an extra spice to it.

You have Ren trying to figure out how he actually loves Goro and wants to help him, despite trying to kill him and despite what he did to Haru's dad. And then he has to also consider his love for Haru.

For Haru, it's a very similar situation. She loves Ren, but with this OT3 she also manages to somehow come to terms with her feelings for Goro despite what he did to her father and also to Ren. But despite all that, she still cares for him deeply.

(I will also point out that forgiveness is different from redemption. Haru always makes it very clear that she doesn't intend to forgive him for killing her father, but I think she would still believe that he can do better, as long as he puts in the effort.)

And as for Goro, it's him coming to understand that yes, he can be loved. He's not unwanted. He's not worthless without his ace detective status. Ren and Haru's love and care for him is genuine. He doesn't need to push them away in fear of hurting them or them hurting him.

And once they're past all that, once Goro has decided to stop pushing others away, then you can get to the fluff.

All three of them having dates together. Making coffee, sweets, just cooking and baking anything together.

ShuAkeHaru Pirate AU where Ren is the captain of the pirate ship, while Haru and Goro are both royalty who ran away from home. The thing is, they know Haru is a princess. But as for Goro, he keeps his royalty status a secret.

It's canon that Haru likes horror movies. So I wouldn't be surprised if she really was the one who could handle horror stuff the most out of the ShuAkeHaru trio.

I actually like the thought that Goro might be the one who gets scared by them the most (simply because it would be funny). Not so much when they're all watching it at home, where he can get comfy and feel a bit safer. But movie theaters? They're big and dark and loud and it's harder to cling onto either Haru or Ren if he gets caught off guard. He has tried to insist that he isn't trembling when walking out of the theater at least once. (He almost always ends up cuddling them to sleep when they get back home tho.)

Ren is probably a middle ground. Can't handle them as much as Haru but a bit more than Goro. He's also very into horror games. Haru wasn't all that familiar with those before, but she gets really into them as well because of him. (Goro is more of a watcher than a player in this case. He handles that better than movies tho.) In fact, maybe she gets even better than him at those games.

(Goro does play some of the games. When stuff gets tense he insults the monsters/enemies very loudly and aggressively. It might be pretty entertaining to see for the other two.)

Since it's New Year's Eve (and I started this blog after Christmas), here's some ShuAkeHaru headcanons about the holiday season!

There's definitely a lot of cuddling to keep each other warm. Goro is a bit shy about so much physical contact, but Ren and Haru don't mind because his blushing face is adorable.

Ren is definitely the one most likely to start a snowball fight without warning just because he feels like it. And snowball fights between these three can get pretty intense if they get heated enough.

(Cue Goro laughing his ass off after hitting Ren, only to get knocked over his feet by Haru throwing a snowball at him.)

Since Christmas is more of a couple's holiday in Japan, Ren would definitely insist that they must do the cute Christmas stuff.

Ren is the one who goes out to get the fried chicken, while Goro is put in charge of picking the cake. (He spends perhaps a bit too long looking over the cakes at the shop.)

As for Haru? She's making sure she has enough stuff for them to make their drinks. No matter what they end up choosing to drink on the day itself. Tea? Hot chocolate? She has a whole stash of tea leaves and chocolate set aside just in case.

Ren also gets a mistletoe which he holds up in the air himself so he has a cute excuse to kiss the other two (or make them kiss each other).

For New Year's, I don't think any of them would be very into superstitions. However, Ren suggests some of them as a joke to either start a conversation with the other two or to annoy/tease them.

They would make New Year's resolutions. But they would probably be much more realistic than most people's, or very cheesy joke resolutions. (Haru's resolution being to make coffee good enough that impresses Sojiro vs. Ren's resolution being to kiss Haru and Goro at least 3 times whenever they see each other.)

(Goro keeps his own resolution a secret from them, but what he wants is to be able to get better at showing them how much he loves and appreciates them.)
